GUILTY MI - Ana Marie Carrillo, 35, Wyoming, 2 Sept 2017

I think this is new info:
http://people.com/crime/michigan-man-allegedly-murdered-missing-ex-girlfriend/

" An affidavit [...] alleges Hudson “lured” Carrillo to his home under “a false pretense of picking up her children.” [...] police allegedly recovered “blood evidence linked to the victim” from Hudson’s home and truck. [...] “A Wyoming police officer [...] observed a fire burning in a burn barrel on defendant’s property,” [...] “Among clothing items found burned in the barrel were Aeropostale brand buttons. The victim was last seen wearing an Aeropostale clothing item.” "

Cell phone data erased: http://fox17online.com/2017/10/17/p...g-woman-case-after-cellphone-data-was-erased/

Court documents obtained by FOX 17 show that investigators asked Wilson to hand over her cellphone as part of their investigation into finding Carrillo. They found that the phone had been wiped of all data and was returned to its factory settings, according to the documents.

Walker Police say they are searching Johnson Park, looking for the body of a missing Wyoming woman.

Andrew Hudson, her ex-boyfriend, has been charged with her murder and he was due in court Wednesday morning for his preliminary hearing.

That hearing was adjourned until afternoon and police from Wyoming and Walker began searching Johnson Park.

I have seen comments that the suspect may have given a location to find Ana, but I have also seen comments that maybe the suspects dad, who is also charged with lying to investigators, may have given a location to find Ana. Any thoughts on this or why to guess the murder suspect over the murder suspect's dad?

Wyoming police said Thursday afternoon they found Carrillo’s body in an undisclosed location, although not in the area they were searching in the past 24 hours, which included the Millennium Park and Johnson Park areas.

According to notes taken by investigators, Carrillo’s family told police she and Hudson had argued at his home a few days before she went missing on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 3. After the argument, her iPhone was missing. She was borrowing someone else’s phone to stay in touch with Hudson.

Carrillo’s roommate testified Carrillo vanished after she said she was going to Hudson’s house to pick up their kids.

Man admits killing ex-girlfriend, burying body in mother's backyard

Hudson pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and tampering with evidence during a hearing Monday, Dec. 18, before Kent County Circuit Judge Mark Trusock.

"... (D)id you take a knife and intentionally stab and kill an Ana Carrillo in the neck?" the judge asked, as the victim's family, including her mother, Birdie, wept in the gallery.

Hudson leaned over to his attorney, James Scozzari, then said, "Yes sir."

As part of the deal, prosecutors have dismissed perjury charges against Hudson's mother, Nancy DeCamp, father, Lyle Hudson, and his common-law wife, Angela Ruth Wilson.

Man sentenced to prison for killing Ana Carrillo

Andrew Hudson, the boyfriend of a Wyoming mother of three killed in September, was sentenced to at least 40 years in prison Thursday.

Hudson, who is the father of Carrillo’s three children, admitted last month that he stabbed her in the throat.

“Who does that?” Ana Carrillo’s mother Birdie Carrillo said. “That’s not a human being to me, that’s a monster.”

'Only a monster could do that:' Man who killed mother of their 3 children sentenced

Melinda Gomez, the victim's sister, said the children have to grow up knowing what their father did to their mother.

She said Hudson met with her brother and father, too, after her sister went missing.

"Only a monster could do that," she said. "He deserves no sympathy. None whatsoever. He showed my sister none."
