DETROIT - Police are searching for a man who hasn't been seen or heard from since he left his Detroit home July 18.

Police said Gregory Young, 51, was last seen leaving his home at about 1 a.m. in the 5700 block of Newport Street on a bike.

He was wearing a black baseball cap with a white "D" on the front and black jeans. The bike he was riding was tan and had large handle bars and large tires.

Young is black with a dark complexion. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.

Police said they have not received any tips related to Young's disappearance. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police at 313-596-5540.
