BARNWELL, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Barnwell County deputies and city police are seeking your help in locating two people reported missing, including an expecting mother.​

Michael Gene Still was last seen on Feb. 6 at Colony West Apartments, 29 Colony West Street, in Barnwell, the agency says.

Still is around 6 feet 2 inches tall and 275 pounds. Officials say he has brown hair, glasses and facial hair.

Questions raised over police handling after teen mother-to-be found dead

A pregnant 17-year-old was found dead days after she went missing and her family wants answers and is questioning the response of Barnwell Police Department.

Police have said there's no current evidence linking the cases. Still is 30 years older than Ms. Hogg, and left his apartment, apparently on foot, without his medication (at that age and almost 300 pounds I can't rule out a unexpected medical impairment of some sort) and his jacket and vehicle were left behind. Not typically the actions of someone going out to commit a crime against another person, IMO. Investigators search for missing Barnwell man

I'm personally not seeing any flags that would connect these two individuals.

Three days after his disappearance, the Barnwell Police Department (BPD) conducted a welfare check at his residence. Officers arrived at an unlocked door at Still’s apartment with no one inside.

Many of his personal items such as medication, glasses, and jacket were in the apartment. His vehicle was parked in front of the building, leading officials to believe his disappearance may be on foot.

According to Melissa, his cellphone was out of data and minutes.
