Mancia was last seen in the vicinity of Goodman Avenue and Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles, California on May 12, 1988. She has never been heard from again. Few details are available in her case, but authorities say she disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

The police consider foul play to be involved, yet there is nothing about why they think that. I couldn't even find a missing poster

How do Ventura Blvd and Goodman Ave meet? Could they have meant Artesia Blvd in Redondo Beach?
Somebody in the Grateful Doe sub reddit suggested this UI.478UFCA
Mirian went missing one month before the UI was found on sidewalk in another neighborhood in LA. Maybe nobody connected the two cases.

I figured out they meant to say GOODLAND Ave, not Goodman. That's a busy retail and commercial area. It's also on a few bus routes.
