Baltzley did not have any personal belongings with her at the time. She disappeared shortly afterwards and has not been seen again. Foul play is suspected in Baltzley's case.

Adding on to my previous post...Gregory Breeden is deceased but Lynn does fit the victimology. It would be helpful to know if Lynn had any affiliation with prostitution, drugs, or some sort of connection to the streets. Otherwise why else was she meeting a "friend" at a seedy motel in a bad part of town instead of a coffee shop etc.? Coincidentally, Breeden worked at the Kansas City Public Works Department which is right around the corner from the motel, maximum 2 minute drive, eight minute walk. It might be relevant.

One-Time Suspected Serial Killer Found Dead | HuffPost

She was last seen being followed down the street by a male acquaintance.

This is mentioned in many reports aside from KCPD's Lynn L. Baltzley which has the least amount of case details. Where and who is the source of this information? It's obviously significant and yet, there are so few details and so many questions.

Who was the witness that saw Lynn being followed? None of the reports say who it was.
Was this "male acquaintance" officially ID'd and interrogated? Again, no mention of it in any reports who he was.

* Was the boyfriend who dropped her off the witness? Then he obviously knew who the acquaintance was if he recognized him.
* If the boyfriend was the witness, was he cleared of involvement? Otherwise how can it be certain he isn't lying and had something to do with her disappearance? Maybe he never even dropped her off and the whole "male acquaintance" story was concocted?
* If he did actually drop her off, did he know the friend she was meeting, and why she was meeting this person at a seedy motel downtown?
* If the witness wasn't the boyfriend, how did this person know that the man following Lynn was an acquaintance of hers? They must have known who he was as well.
* How do they even know this person was following her? Maybe it was happenstance he was walking down the street at the same time. Otherwise how would the acquaintance even know she would be there at that moment? Was he the "friend" she was meeting?
* Why was she meeting up with the "friend" at the motel? Was this a place Lynn frequented?
* (See previous post above) Was Lynn involved with street activity like drugs and prostitution? Hence why she would be at the motel.
* Who reported her missing?

In many cases like MO - MO - Angela Hammond, 20, Clinton, 4 April 1991 for example -where boyfriends and suspects are mentioned in the MP report- usually more information is provided, indicating their involvement and if they were cleared etc. We know Angie's boyfriend was Rob, we know his detailed testimony, and we know he was cleared of involvement. We have seen sketches of the alleged suspect and his vehicle.

Why doesn't this case provide details like that? We don't even know:
*Lynn's boyfriend's name
*Who the witness was that saw her being followed
*Who the friend was she was meeting at the motel
*Who the "male acquaintance" following her was

That's a lot of people with information. Hopefully KCPD has a potential suspect and is withholding critical information and that is why the details provided are so vague.

I previous thought it could have been a victim of Gregory Breeden but evidently he was still in jail so it couldn't have been him responsible. There were many other missing women and bodies found in the Missouri River around the same time Lynn went missing in the 90's from the same area as Breeden's victims, so there must have been another serial killer at work unfortunately.
