“Nelson is anticipated to enter a guilty plea to those counts within the next two days. Should that guilty plea not occur, the United States would request this Court re-issue the Writ of Habeas Corpus Ad Prosequendum in advance of trial scheduled before this Court on October 3, 2022,” prosecutors wrote.

within the next 2 days, I've heard will be this Friday September 30th.
Talk about waiting till the last minute
So, no Federal court for now, I guess he doesn't like it in Federal, From what I understand, if he gets found guilty of murder in Mo. According to this link ,link shows person under 18 , but, if you go to site you'll see #2 states for above 18 . That would be Garland Joseph Nelson

The offense of murder in the first degree is a class A felony, and, if a person is eighteen years of age or older at the time of the offense, the punishment shall be either death or imprisonment for life without eligibility for probation or parole, or release except by act of the governor.

The details were hard for relatives of the Diemel brothers to hear. Nelson admitted to disposing of one brother’s remains in a mineral supplement bucket and hiding the other’s remains in a manure pile.

A judge then sentenced Nelson to two life sentences, without the possibility of parole. The sentences will run consecutively.
