I see the similarities. Those along with his name being Scott Devlin is pretty creepy. To be honest with you, I don't think it would hurt to bring it to LE's attention. Let them check it out.
After viewing the my space person and the missing child, I think they look more alike than the age progression picture. It certainly would be worth checking out.

I wonder who the myspace link would be sent to for LE look into it. Does anyone know?

Didn't see your thread, which is in the WS Missing Persons Forum, when I posted it here in Cold Cases. See also the thread for another missing Missouri boy named Henderson.

Devlin, who is in his 40's, did not become a pervert over night. It is highly likely that he has been molesting children for many years. Since he is obviously a person who thinks little of abducting a child and keeping them for years, isn't it possible that he has done this before? How many others have there been? And what has he done with them?

Wow...interesting about the "Scott Devlin" profile. Could be nothing, but it could be significant. After finding out that Shawn Hornbeck posted under Shawn Devlin on the internet, I think we should take these kinds of things more seriously!

Richard, in the other thread someone posted a link to a "Scott Devlin" that was found on myspace. Just wondering if you looked at it and if so your feelings. Here is the link:

Looks like the other thread has been moved from the Missing Persons Forum to the Cold Case Forum now.

I would only be speculating on the possibility of this "Scott Devlin" being the same as the missing Scott Allen Kleeschulte. My gut feeling is that it is just a coincidence, but you never know.

As I mentioned in another post, I have the feeling that this Devlin pervert had probably done this sort of thing before he abducted the Hornbeck boy. It will be very interesting to hear what comes out of this investigation.

The interview that Devlin gave in jail is kind of revealing. His biggest problem - as he sees it - is how will he explain it all to his parents. No remorse, or consideration for the parents of the two kidnapped boys. It is all about himself.

bumping case up. Any new information about it?

This June will mark the 20th anniversary of Scott's disappearance. He would be 29 now.

Scott Kleeshulte, 8 years old, Missing from St. Charles, MO since 1988

Scott was seen walking before and after a big thunderstorm that hit St. Charles that day but he has never been seen since. Authorities checked caves, dredged streams/rivers, ditches, canals, etc looking for Kleeshulte with the belief that maybe he got caught in a flash flood.
Authorities have since changed their minds and believe Kleeshulte was abducted. There are no suspects. THey have been looking at Michael Devlin in connection.

Even though it has been so many years I still hope and pray that Scott has somehow survived and that he will find his way home.

Parents of Boy Missing 23 Years Hope for New Leads

For 23 years, the family of a missing Missouri boy has been trying to find out what happened to him. Searches have turned up nothing, leads have dried up and suspects have been ruled out. But renewed media interest in the case has revived hope that they might soon have some answers.

[snip]

A former attorney for Devlin, Mike Kielty, recently told HLN that his client agreed to take a lie detector test regarding Scott's case. According to the attorney, Devlin took the test and passed.

Despite the lack of leads in the case, HLN's Nancy Grace will be covering Scott's disappearance on her new show, "Nancy Grace: America's Missing." The show debuted last month and has a goal of "finding 50 people in 50 days." The episode featuring Scott will air next week.

Scott Kleeschulte: Nancy Grace America's Missing

kleeschulte-blog-post.jpg

It was the last day of first grade for 9 year old Scott Kleeschulte. His family had plans for a dinner celebration, but Scott never made it there. After getting off the bus from school Scott went home to change and then head to a friend’s house to play.

The friend said he would join Scott outside in a little bit but when he went to look for him, Scott was gone. A storm came through that afternoon. Scott was afraid of them. When he didn’t return home his parents first thought perhaps he sought refuge at a friend’s house, but after the storm cleared there was no sign of the boy.
