MS MS - Rebecca Paulk, 26, Lauderdale County, 7 Sept 2015

Does anybody happen to know if there is a FB page set up for her other than her personal one? Kind of a Help Find Rebecca type page? If you have a link I would appreciate it.

TIA

In regards to her having a laptop and an ipad with her in the car ... didn't she just spend the long weekend with her family? I bring my laptop and tablet with me when I travel out of town. My laptop is for my hobby/side-job stuff and my tablet is for movies and playing games while I am hanging out with my family. I don't find that very odd at all to have them both with you especially when traveling. My husband also carries his laptop and tablet together almost every day ... although he uses the laptop for work and uses the tablet for grad school stuff.

Not that I have seen.

They had the vigil and since then nothing seems to be happening. I wonder if they are searching for her or if anything is being done to find Rebecca? Quiet and strange so soon after a disappearance.

I have not seen anything about any searches thus far. Just a lot of sharing on social media. That is not to say they are not doing it. With hardly any media coverage who knows what is happening.

Just a couple of bumps to keep people current to nothing. Where is Rebecca? Is anybody even looking for her?

Racetrack and pretty blonde. Maybe they need to check and see if any of the racetrack guy from Kortney Stoffer case are working there.

The motor-cross racetrack in WhyNot, MS is for stock cars. Does that make a difference from Kortney Stoffer's case? Can you compose a brief synopsis of her case? How old is she? Married? Divorced? What happened, and where kinda stuff.

We have another case on WS involving a 4 month newlywed blonde bombshell, Jessica Hewitt. She went missing. Her car was located in the woods not far from the river's bank just miles from her home. Her autopsy revealed she died of accidental overdose. Possibly, fleeing into the woods while in a state of psychosis.

Toxicology: Methamphetamine [and she was wearing a patch of] naltrexone = a deadly cocktail

Naltrexone reverses the effects of opioids and is used primarily in the management of alcohol dependence and opioid dependence.

Her parents, Wes and Janet Henderson of Demopolis, said they last spoke to their daughter at 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7. The parents are offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the location of their daughter.
Paulk had been in Meridian that Monday. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, officials in Lauderdale County, Mississippi found Paulk’s vehicle stuck in a ditch on a rural road, near a Whynot, Mississippi racetrack. According to Wes Henderson, valuable items were found inside the vehicle, including medicine, her purse, and an iPad and laptop computer. Her cell phone was not in the vehicle.

Wonder what medication she needed to be taking? If she ran away, she would know that she could be tracked by her cell phone pings.

Her car was found in a ditch after driving across a flat field and not in a ditch on the side of a road. It was hidden in a desolate area.

Checked alacourt and it appears that she has some criminal cases going to grand jury. Of course, she is innocent until proven guilty. However, I would be checking with any known addicts/dealers in the area.

I am sure LE have revisited the circumstances of the Oct. 2014 DV charge.

I live near the area and haven't heard anything at all about Rebecca. I have only seen one flier that is circulating on FB.

Wonder who else was involved in the situation that merited the DV charge (since dismissed).

Hmmm... according to an article posted upthread her parents said she left their home with the intent to return.

At first glance of her FB page, it concerns me that she has "friended" people who state in their comments on her page that they have not met her in person. It's never a good idea to friend people you don't really know. I am not sleuthing any friends OF COURSE, but that grabbed my attention.

I wonder who it is? They said the family of the deceased has been notified and that it is not Rebecca. I hope Rebecca is found soon!

Lauderdale County, Miss. Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun of the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department says Kenneth Brian Weaver has been charged with the murder of 25-year-old Sara Beard Mullett.

Her body was found in a rural pond in Collinsville Tuesday afternoon.

WAW spoke with Lauderdale County Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun who verified that the body found this afternoon is not that of missing Demopolis, Ala. native Rebecca Henderson Paulk.
“We have not identified the body via dental records yet, but we can tell you that it is not the missing Paulk girl,” said Calhoun. “We have been in contact with the family of the girl whose body was found today, and they have been notified, but it is not the missing Demopolis native.”

The article was updated........it's not her.
