i haven't read all of brad's rubuttal affidavit but i have read the others. i believe that the truth may lie somewhere in the middle about the spending habits of both brad and nancy.

aside from the issue about nancy not having a Greencard and being unable to work, it is hard to understand why she didn't flee back to canada sooner. doesn't a child ride on a mother's passport?

if she truly had no money to feed and diaper her children, why didn't she pay an artist to make a reproduction of the $8,000 painting and sell it without telling brad?

it seems as if her friends made the offer to house nancy and the girls to get them away from brad. why didn't nancy accept their offer?

couldn't nancy's family have given her money to get an apt to move away from brad?

there are ways of making money off the books, including using a friend's social security number, selling on ebay, etc.

reading the affidavits, it seems as if nancy confided a lot in her friends about brad's behavior. it must have been frustrating for them to advise her, she stayed with him and lost her life.

i tend believe that there may have been a twisted dance that she and brad were doing with each other like nicole brown and OJ.

it is not to say that she was asking to be murdered by her spouse but what is it in her psychological makeup that made her stay with a man like brad, if all of these things were true?

brad is on paid leave. i know when hitech companies lay off people, it is quite brutal. they give you a short time to pack up and a security guard escorts you out of the building.

they do not allow you to take any files off of your computer. they are afraid that you will steal proprietary information or clients.

To those who write that it's premature to say BC did the crime because there is no evidence proving it, you are actually right.

Because LE has not really RELEASED any info that we can work with other than the fact that NC was murdered, she went missing Sat. morning, her husband said she was jogging, and her friends were worried about her.

The rest of what we know is based on affidavits and little pieces of info that has leaked out...but nothing official tells us what forensic information there is (yet), we don't know the cause of death, we don't know what NC was wearing when found.

There are a million things we don't yet know. So you're all right that there is very little that we have to go on at this point that proves BC did the crime and that is because we are not privy to the info that LE has gathered.

But as time moves on that will change. We'll learn more. And the evidence uncovered will let us know if BC is the likely perp. We have suspicions but until the evidence is released, no we don't *know* for sure.

i am trying to think back what the news reports and brad's friends affs said about brad wanting the girl's routine to be normal after nancy's disappearance.

would this include his going back into his office, enabling him to get rid of evidence?

Well we know that's what BC said she was wearing...and that's what the flyer said. Now whether she was found wearing that, or wearing something else, or some parts of her clothing were missing, we don't yet know. We will, eventually.

because the blue running shoes were mentioned in the flyer but not the color of her shorts or top, it makes me think that LE may be seeking out info from her running friends.

maybe she had mentioned that the blue shoes didn't fit anymore or something to that effect. maybe they were not her regular running shoes but ones that brad had quickly stuck on her feet.

IIRC he said he was capable and would if needed in affidavits about custody. Not sure if he said he was or had.

I know Brad said he did part of his work from home, ehhhh.....so that he could spend more time with the family AND so that Nancy could jog in the morning before he left for work.

Guess that's when he used his VoIP line that he claimed in his affidavit he had replaced with a regular line because Nancy didn't like it.

Well........IF he took out the VoIP line, HOW was he able to work from home? From what I understand that's a necessity of this line of work. OH...........I'm sure it was an oversight he FORGOT to mention in his affidavit, that he in fact had TWO telephone lines out of the home, one regular AND one VoIP.
I'm sure it's not much of a stretch of the imagination to think that someone TRAINED in VoIP could possibly connect the home line to the VoIP line without their spouse knowing.

I agree, this is further complicated in that nancy has a Canadian passport - the children were born in the Us and have US passports. No way to take them without those passports.

All that is needed for VoIP is an internet connection and an appropriate device. I'm sure the Coopers had some type of high speed internet access that would allow both VoIP and telecommuting. There would be a record though of whether VoIP was being used as their home phone because the phone company has to know where to send your telephone calls. You can't just plug a VoIP device into your internet connection and have it start receiving calls on your home number.

I don't think it is safe to assume that at all. LE is seeking corroboration for BC's claim. So the flyer says what he said in the case that he is telling the truth. If he is lying, then she may or may not have been wearing that.

how were they tied? from the side she would have tied them if leaning over? or were they tied from the front as if brad had been facimg her?

what kind of panties (if any) was she wearing?

did she have on deodorant, sunscreen?
did she have an iPod, walkman?

did she have wrist or ankle weights?

scarf around neck for sweat?

Again you speak so condescending but really you are not familiar with the subject at the same time. Do you know what VPN is? The VIOP phone is not a necessity for him to work from home. AGAIN.... He can connect a VOIP phone but how can he do it with out her knowing ..the Cisco VOIP phone you have to make the calls on that phone.... so unless she was blind and reached around till she felt a phone ...she will know its a Cisco phone by the big Cisco logo's all over it.... I explained its not like other VIOP like Vonage where you hook up regular phones...

most runners that I know do wear running socks. I get blisters if I run without socks.
I don't know of any women runners who wear panties with their running shorts. Running shorts have built in liners.
Almost every photo that I have seen of Nancy dressed in her running clothes, she also has on a cap.
I find it odd that BC described NC running shoes by color. Most runners would describe by brand. IE, Nike running shoes, New Balance running shoes, etc.
Also, I cannot recall a pair of running shoes that are all 1 color. Most are white with accent colors. Blue and red are the most used accent colors on white shoes.
I don't picture NC wearing a scarf or anything around her neck or a sweatband. She seems to be more of the "cap" type to keep the sun off of her face.

OH, AND NO, I DO NOT THINK THAT SHE WOULD HAVE WORN WRIST OR ANKLE WEIGHTS. THAT IS MORE OF AN EXERCISE, WORKOUT TYPE THING. SHE WAS A SERIOUS RUNNER, TRAINING FOR A HALF MARATHON. HER TIME WOULD HAVE BEEN FOCUSED ON TRAINING, IF SHE DID ANY WEIGHT TRAINING, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE APART FROM HER RUNNING. IMO.
