We are asking home and business owners with surveillance camera systems to call our tip line at 910-272-5871. Your footage could be important to our investigation even if it did not capture an image of the SUV.

In that second photo, does that wooded area look like the area at the trailer park?

I wish the police, especially the FBI woman who is fluent in Spanish, would hold an information meeting in the mobile home park.

Bring the caring of this investigative team to the area. Show you care and you want to listen to community members there. I know that they do care, I just like the positive idea of them showing up in the community.

Who knows? Perhaps something will be said during a conversation at an information meeting that will jog someone's memory.

Perhaps the authorities don't feel a meeting like this would work but I think why not?

I think that is a fabulous idea!

This was on the WBTV (Charlotte) news tonight so hopefully it will be seen by lots of people.

?? Doesn't it actually gets lighter earlier in the morning now and darker earlier in the evening.
Yes it would have been light there then.

In your opinions, do you guys think Hania looks older for her age? I’m asking this for the purpose of thinking about the abductor’s potential victim preferences (even though we know age is not always an indicator).

(Gosh I feel like I know all you guys. Our case histories together are getting quite thick.)

ETA: So this is not many of our first rodeos with child abductions, yet they always seem to baffle.

Are we truly baffled? Or are the signs right there in front of us...?

Can Occam tell us anything here?
She looks how 13 year old girls look now. She is a beautiful young woman and I am VERY worried!

I swear the earliest reports stated it was still dark then. I'll try to find link.

Yes they did. But in the photos it clearly is not dark anymore.

Maybe where the car was parked it was more shadowy? Under trees?

I noticed going to work today, just the extra minute or so every morning is making a difference.

One of my Latina friends at works looks to be about 16! But when she puts on her makeup! OMG! She looks every bit of the 21 year old she is not. ( she is 26) drives me crazy!

Police Capt. Terry Parker said in a statement that Hania Noleia Aguilar, who lives at lot 102 in the Rosewoods Mobile Home Part at 3381 Elizabethown Road, was forced into a green 2002 Ford Expedition at about 7 a.m that the abductor then drove away in the stolen vehicle. It is registered to Velasquez Hernandez of Summerville, S.C, and has a license plate of NWS 984.

The kidnapping occurred between lots 38 and 39 at the mobile home park.

BBM. The above article indicates where she lives and where she was abducted from the mobile home park. This is the only article I have seen with the full ID card showing her birthday (March 21, 2005). It also indicates the ID card was issued Feb 10, 2016-- about a month before her birthday, so she was 10, almost 11 when the photo was taken-- something to keep in mind as she is older now. I thought she looked 13 in the photo due to the braces.

( @MassGuy and everyone else. Get your arses in here, we need more folks in this thread!

I want to hear your thoughts MG on all this—this window of opportunity is bugging me. And not using his own vehicle...)

Where did he come from!?

I am sadly getting the same vibe of unprovoked unmitigated evil that I got from Jessica Ridgway's case...

Great find, and great catch! This is absolutely something to keep in mind, given the date in which HNA's ID was issued (which would likely have been the same date the photo was taken).

Snipped.

Good eye! So the ID photo is over two years old. That makes a big difference for someone this age.

I was thinking she looks young but it makes sense to me now because she was only 10/11 in that photo. Perhaps that's why they issued the other photo-- it seems more current. But both photos are being used on missing posters:

I'm sure the photos were not taken until after police arrived, reporters on scene....my guess would be at least an hour later but, again, jmo

Did anyone else notice at about 1:18 into the press conference a vehicle similar to the one they are looking for drove by? (see screenshot attached)
I'm not saying it's the vehicle, but it got me wondering how common is that specific make/model?
Are they a commonly stolen vehicle?

Actual vehicle:

Does look like the SUV. I think it is also the vehicle parked across the street at what looks like a station at the very beginning of the video.
