Dad captured after killing his baby, mom and her sister in Harnett County, deputies say

A Harnett County man killed his infant and the mother of his baby, along with her adult sister during a triple homicide Friday, officials say.

Kareem Daquan Taylor, 24, killed the baby he shared with the baby's mother, Jocelyn Perkins, 22. Perkins' sister, Jasmine Perkins, 20, was also slain.

The victims and Taylor lived in the Forest Manor Drive home where the killings happened, officials said.

Taylor was on the run, but was apprehended Saturday night, authorities say. Taylor was found around 11 p.m. Saturday at 207 Constitution Way in Cameron, deputies said.



A second minor survived, Sheriff Wayne Coats said Friday. The discovery was made around 6:27 p.m. Coats said he believes that the triple homicide happened Friday.

The Harnett County sheriff is expected to make a statement to the public sometime Monday morning.

Not much new information. He is the only suspect currently known. It is a rumor right now that one of the victims was pregnant, and also not confirming suspect was father of Jocelyn's infant. Waiting on autopsy reports. Appreciates everyone's help in locating suspect.
