The folks over at the DNA Doe Project uploaded the highest matches on FTDNA and it looks like Bedford Jane Doe's highest match is slightly more promising over there.

Very promising new highest match this week - I believe GEDMatch updated their TOS to benefit does.

If the estimates of Swedish and Polish ancestry are accurate, that may decrease the likelihood that she's missing from Quebec, assuming her ancestry is from that area.

The Swedish or Norwegian (?) and Polish ancestry are super interesting to me. The UID bust almost looks Native American or Italian.

This makes me think she could be local, or have a local connection. There's a fairly sizable Polish population in the Manchester-Nashua area of NH, the most obvious sign being several Polish Catholic churches, and in the 1800's many Swedes came to the White Mountains to work in the lumber industry, and later the ski industry.

DDP uploaded new extended admixture. If I understand it correctly, she is half Polish and half Norwegian.

No, that is just statistics. With the Oracle, yoi dont get exact results but approximations. You need to get the summary of the most close estimates. In her case, that is primarily Scandinavian and German descent, but may be other Central and Northern European countries as well.

Bedford Jane Doe has been unidentified for 50 years today.

*If* she was a serial killer victim, I would lean towards Alcala. I still think she is possibly the young woman in the photo with sort of a maroon haze to it I have mentioned previously.

Really hope for answers for this one.
I think it looks a lot like this woman.

Hmm....I've always thought there could be a connection to the "Pink Shorts" photo from the Alcala series too. (scroll back in thread to see what I mean.) *These are all unknown/UIDs, so links to photos are previously provided, FBI and media links of Alcala and the subject of thread. *Edited will crosspost Daphne

No new exclusions but there's a new set of reconstructions from April 2020 that I don't remember seeing before. Her chin seems less prominent in the newer recons.
