Prosecutor detailed brutal murder. Camden struggled to live. McCrery stated she intended to commit suicide, chewed poisonous castor beans at motel, and didn't want Camden raised in foster care. But prosecutor stated there was evidence that she intended to return to Texas without him. She placed his body where it was unlikely to be found. She contacted school. She texted boyfriend from rest area in Chelmsford, Mass., about her return.

After her arrest, McCrery was interviewed at State Police HQ in Concord, Mass. She told LE that she'd tried to kill herself 5 or 6 years ago. She said she could no longer get castor beans in Texas, so she had to travel to Maine to get them.

McCrery's father and brother attended the hearing yesterday.

McCrery will be sentenced to 45 years to life under her plea agreement. The judge postponed sentencing until January 13th so that Camden's brother Ian, who is in the Navy, can attend.

A Texas woman was sentenced Friday to 45 years in prison for suffocating her 6-year-old son in a New Hampshire motel room and leaving his body along a dirt road in Maine.

McCrery, 42, of Irving, Texas, later told prosecutors she had planned to kill herself and that she killed Camden because no one else was fit to raise him. But prosecutors say they have evidence McCrery felt the boy was an inconvenience and that she planned to go about her own life after killing him.

Well it's not enough, it never is IMO but at her age it may just work out to a life sentence.

I remember when the name Julianne McCrery was first made aware to the press in regards to her being the young boy's mother, a friend of mine was doing searches of her on google and came across her Youtube account which had the username of "urgodsproblemnowbaby" (which is still up) It had videos of Camden running around and just being a little boy. When you read how investigators considered if she had murdered Camden because he was a burden, the username alone appears to paint a pretty clear picture...to me anyway. She refers to the child as "Boy" and nothing really by name. The tip from my friend about the account was posted on the local news (WCSH) facebook. Pretty sketchy.

Sorry if the youtube thing has been brought up, I may have missed it reading through the thread.
