MOUNT LAUREL — A search party that was being formed to look for a missing township woman was called off Friday afternoon.
The search was being organized by Barbara Kellam, a cousin of 26-year-old Erica Crippen, a mother of two young daughters who was reported missing Jan. 7. The family previously conducted a search in the Williamstown area on Jan. 10.

It's the only newspaper reporting it too. I haven't found any other info on other MSM articles about it.

I hit a paywall when I clicked this link :(

If anyone is able to update the thread with a synopsis, I'd greatly appreciate it.

The headline mentioned that the search was called off after an accident IIRC.

The article was brief and said the cousin who was organizing the search was involved in an car accident on her way to the search.

Crosby has stayed mum on the possible whereabouts of his wife's body. In the ensuing weeks, it has been up to Crippen's family and friends to continue loosely-organized searches in the Mount Laurel and Sicklerville areas -- where the couple lived and had family -- for a body. A Facebook page named "Team Bring Erica Back Home" has more than 5,000 followers, and heartbroken relatives continue to hold volunteer searches. An outing last week had to be canceled without little notice after many people failed to show up, however.

What a shame that no one showed up last week to search. I wanted to go but had to work unfortunately. Hopefully, the family will hold more searches once the weather calms down a bit. I'd be more than willing to help look. I think the problem is that there isn't a definite area to search since he was missing for a little while and was supposedly as far away as Maryland. It would be nice if we could somehow tighten the search radius in a bit..

According to the "Team Bring Erica Back Home" Facebook group, there will be an organized search tomorrow morning at 930am meeting at Stratford, NJ. Just figured I'd share that information if anyone is local and would like to help the family search.

It's sad. I always read her cousins fb page and the find erica fan page and they feel so hopeless that the media stopped covering her story and that they've received no help. The key to this whole mystery is Kyle and he won't give up the location.

For the last month, twice a week, up to 15 of them have waded through ice-encrusted creeks, shined flashlights into murky drain holes, and scoured woods in Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington Counties.

Occasionally they find something.

Last week, searching a Williamstown quarry that Kyle Crosby allegedly frequented as a teenager, they discovered a Victoria's Secret sandal, size 6, which they said matched Erica Crosby's feet. They also found a small bone.

While encouraging the searchers, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office has remained quiet about its investigation. It has not said how it determined Erica Crosby, 26, is dead.

"It's hard," Erica Crosby's sister, Janiya Crippen, 22, tells Westphal. "People are not motivated to help us."

From this article...

"She assisted his efforts to conceal the body of his wife, Erica Crippen, after he took her life."

Does that directly mean she would know where Erica is? Or does that open the possibility that she only helped KC at some point after Erica was killed?

Jo Crosby, 67, of Saint Moritz Drive in Sicklerville, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Monday.

Prosecutors say she helped her son, Kyle Crosby, hide the murder of his wife, 26-year-old Erica Crippen, after he committed the crime.

Why?!!! I just will never understand! :furious:

Hopefully, hopefully, we can get some answers. However, she doesn't look like the type to "break" under pressure. :sigh:
