I've had some life interruptions so I'm behind in reading the last thread. And, ditto for the finally released autopsy reports.

I read that Campos was employed by G4S aka Wackenhut. Has that been verified? The security guards at the most all Vegas Hotels and at the Airport are their employees but I wasn't certain about Campos.

A District Court judge ordered the Clark County coroner to pay about $32,000 in legal costs to the Las Vegas Review-Journal after refusing to release public records to the newspaper.

The newspaper filed a lawsuit in July seeking reports about recent deaths that Coroner John Fudenberg had withheld. Judge Jim Crockett in September rejected all arguments by the Clark County district attorney’s office and told the coroner’s office to release the records.

But county commissioners voted in November to appeal Crockett’s verdict with only Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak and Commissioner Jim Gibson siding with the judge.

Do you see him on your provided link? From ‘Security Guards’ turned up as a ‘Page Error’. In the general search there were 57...I don’t want to go hunt if nothing has turned up.

Where did you read that? I haven’t seen this source mentioned before.

Initially he showed up nowhere as a SG. Next was ‘unlicensed’. Next was the *Agency claiming him (ceremony Awards banquet).

To date there has been no cross checked claim to verify the nature of his SG rank.

MacDonald was there at the hotel at 10 16, he assumed responsibility of investigating an "officer involved shooting".. This is beyond incompetence. And there were two SWAT on the roof that night. As per prelim report.

Hmmm half the autopsies allegedly done without a homicide detective present. Was this a manpower/time issue? Would there have been enough detectives to be present at every autopsy and still gotten the autopsies done in a reasonable time frame?

Has there been another mass casualty situation in Vegas to compare to?

Victor declined to describe the level of contact Haig has had with authorities. The lawyer said he plans to hold a news conference with his client on Friday morning.

The documents released Tuesday did not disclose why authorities considered Haig a person of interest. Authorities recently said an unnamed person could face unspecified federal charges in the shooting. Las Vegas police and the FBI have refused to provide additional information.

 They're making a habit of this.
they released the first block of warrants before they declared MD would not be charged with anything.

The second batch still lists both MD and Haig as persons of interest.
And whereas Haig's name was supposedly released in error, the amendment to mD being a person of interest was not qualified.. though I didn't get to finish reading second batch.

not as far as is known..
I think each autopsy should have been attended by LVPD.

Out of respect for each victim.
 
I think Haig likely has a hell of a lawsuit here.
His reputation is completely destroyed.
There is no excuse for such an oversight.
