But I thought Eric Trump only poured the concrete.

Eric Trump, who oversaw luxury golf developments for a time, denied he had anything to do with the valuation of Trump golf courses. He asserted that "I pour concrete, I operate properties, I don't focus on appraisals" in a video of his deposition.

LOL Eric poured the concrete?????

Maybe his Union Representative will help him out!

Of course that would mean he’d have to fight against management, i.e. his father and brother.

Good try, though, Eric.

I’m fairly certain they’re allergic to manual labor.

Yes that would be a lie saying you poured the concrete if you gave the contract or order to someone else to do it.

Surely no one in the Trump "royal family" would lie ;)

The concrete industry in NYC was once dominated by the mob. Giuliani went after them when he was a prosecutor. Go figure.

Wednesday, Nov. 1st:
*Bench Trial continues (Day 21) (@ 10am ET) – NY - New York vs. Donald J. Trump (76/now 77), Donald Trump, Jr. (45) & Eric Trump (38/now 39) & the Trump Organization, Inc. (Allen Weisselberg (75/now 76) & Jeffrey McConney) are being sued by Letitia James, the New York Attorney General, who is leading a civil investigation (which cannot result in criminal charges filed on 9/21/22) & has spent years looking at whether the company committed various acts of fraud over several decades. In the civil case, Ms. James has filed a lawsuit against Trump & two of his children accusing them of "astounding" fraud & deception.
New York is seeking $250 million in financial penalties & asked the court to ban Trump, Donald Trump Jr. & Eric Trump from serving as an officer or director in any corporation registered or licensed in New York. James also requested the court ban the former president & his business from acquiring real estate in New York or from applying for loans from any New York financial institution for five years. James's civil case accuses Trump of lying from 2011 to 2021 about asset values at the Trump Organization, as well as his own net worth, in order to obtain better terms from lenders & insurers.
Lawsuit against: Donald John Trump, Donald Trump, Jr, Eric Trump, Allen Weisselberg, Jeffrey McConney, The Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, The Trump Organization, Inc., Trump Organization LLC, DJT Holdings LLC, DJT Holinds Managing Memer, Trump Endeavor 12 LLC, 401 North Wabash Venture LLC, Trump Old Post of Fice LLC, 40 Wall Street LLC & Seven Springs LLC.
All charges against Ivanka Trump were dismissed in June, 2023.
Bench Trial began on 10/2/23. (could last until 12/22/23 per Judge).
The lawsuit’s remaining 6 counts allege similar acts of fraud (that Trump inflated his assets on statements of financial condition that he submitted to banks & insurers for personal gain).
Judge Arthur F. Engoron presiding / NY State Attorney General Leticia James & senior enforcement counsel Kevin Wallace, Defense attorney Christopher Kise & Jesus Suarez & Alina Habba for Trump, Weisselberg & the rest of the defendants for Trump Org. / Clifford Robert of Robert & Robert PLLC for Donald, Jr. & Eric.
Trump fined $5,000 on 10/20/23 for violating his gag order & on 10/25/23 Trump fined $10,000 for violating his gag order 2nd time. Both paid on 10/30/23 per Alina Habba.

10/31/23 Tuesday, Bench Trial Day 20: State witnesses: K. Don Cornwell, who worked at investment bank Morgan Stanley in 2014 when Trump bid for the Buffalo Bills football team. Former Trump Organization executive David Orowitz.
State attorneys had initially planned to complete the testimony of Orowitz, as well as that of expert witness Michiel McCarty, by the end of today -- but Orovitz's lengthy testimony kept that from happening.
As a result, their remaining testimony will either delay tomorrow's much-anticipated testimony from Donald Trump Jr. -- or it will be pushed to a different day.

Bench Trial continues on Wednesday, 11/1/23.

Donald Trump's sons are taking center stage at the$250 million civil fraud trial against the Trump family and their company in New York this week, with Donald Trump Jr. taking the stand Wednesday.

The oldest son of the former president is expected to be grilled by lawyers from state Attorney General Letitia James' office about his involvement in and knowledge of financial statements the attorney general alleges were grossly inflated.

He'll be followed by his brother Eric Trump, who is expected to testify late Wednesday or Thursday, with their father, the former president, taking the stand on Monday. His testimony will be followed by his daughter Ivanka Trump's.

It will be interesting to see the family dynamic. Will the sons take any responsibility? Will they claim it was all T's fancy bookwork and T's fault alone? Will they blame the hired workers?

Door #3 - blame the hired "help". I do not think they would EVER go against their father....

For sure.
I agree. I think they will say it didn't occur to them to ask how the numbers got on the financial statements - the numbers were just there, like Santa's presents under the tree.

dang - I get a blank page...
So far, no new info - just an announcement that the three oldest kids will be testifying at the trial. I expected some coverage of Jr.'s arrival at court by now, tbh.

Former President Trump attacked Judge Arthur Engoron and New York Attorney General Letitia James on social media ahead of today's expected testimony from his son Donald Trump Jr.

"Leave my children alone, Engoron. You are a disgrace to the legal profession!" Trump wrote overnight on his Truth Social platform.

Donald Trump Jr. is expected to begin his testimony in the afternoon today.

If that testimony concludes today, his brother Eric Trump could also begin his testimony.

Both of them are executive vice presidents in the Trump Organization.
'Leave my children alone,' Trump says ahead of sons' testimony

Like they're 12 and not fully grown adults

This would be akin to President Biden saying "leave my baby boy alone". Uh nah bro.

Leave my 40 year old children ALONE. They were just pouring CONCRETE, a failing building material. Sad!

Former President Trump continued to attack Judge Engoron this morning, calling him "crazy, totally unhinged, and dangerous" on his Truth Social platform.

"He then put a RIDICULOUS GAG ORDER ON ME, which we will appeal. He fines me at levels never seen before," Trump wrote this morning.
[snip]
"Now they come up with something called 'disgorgement.' I never even heard of the term," Trump said.
Trump fraud trial live updates: Trump rails against judge, gag order

It's okay Donald, I am pretty sure your attorneys have heard of the term. You might want to get familiar with it as well because that train is coming fast. ;)

disgorgement
Disgorgement is a remedy requiring a party who profits from illegal or wrongful acts to give up any profits they made as a result of that illegal or wrongful conduct. The purpose of this remedy is to prevent unjust enrichment and make illegal conduct unprofitable.

As seen in SEC v. First Jersey Securities, Inc, district courts have wide discretion over whether they will mandate disgorgement in a given case as well as how much money must be disgorged.
disgorgement.

Now, now, @Elliot_Alderson.

You know that Trump Concrete is the BEST concrete. People say they’ve never seen such beautiful concrete. Only deranged lunatics who hate America say Trump Concrete is a failure!

Everybody says that no one has ever poured concrete as beautifully as my baby boy Eric pours concrete. He’s also very, very tall!

Signed DJT, Your Favorite President.
