In NYC, they don't really use dumpsters, so people just put their garbage bags on the sidewalk instead.

I assume a big garbage bag. He wasn't that small either, so it can't have been easy to wrangle him into it. I wonder if maybe he was dismembered but all in one bag?

Considering the NamUs page says one or both hands were not recovered, it sounds like he was possibly dismembered (not sure how else his hands wouldn’t have been recovered).
