I don't have them on my map. Got a link to these cases handy? If not, I'll just google. But if you could save me time, I'll owe ya one.![]()
Oh, okay. So fantasy or attractiveness plays no role in the prostitute-john interaction. No john ever says, for example, "please wear a red dress" because he wants to imagine her as the cute marketing intern that he sees every day at work who looks so sweet in her red dress that he would love to unzip her out of.
No, the prostitute can show up wearing no makeup, baggy sweats, even, and it makes no difference, as long as the sweats come off.
Really?

Me neither Mountain_Kat. BUT, There sure are alot of commonalties and coincidences in these cases we are studying......buses, bus stations, working girls of small stature, People's mamas.....etc.
I agree we should keep an eye on it though. If SK was tracking the movements of these ladies thru websites, he could have travelled I guess. Perhaps he had a close call around home base which compelled him to go elsewhere. Specualtion only.
For now, I will go with not related until we hear more info.:twocents:

i wonder if now that certain people might be sitting in jail , if certain missing girls bodies may begin showing up......
still reeling.
In a case full of coincidences, the fact that this woman and MW went missing from the same area at about the same time is another weird coincidence that might be no more than that.
Was MW the one who was robbed on her way back home?
Actually, what I was mapping was somewhat different (but the same, it turns out). Patterns of travel can't be hidden. Like I said, our SK is who he is. He works where he works, lives where he lives, frequents the places he frequents. So I plugged in known locations, and started to see what the travel pattern was. I assumed he would have travelled to the dumpsites on his way home. In other words, he wouldn't travel to Oak Beach to dump, and then double back to a house on the mainland of LI. That's when the "loop pattern" stood out to me. What I didn't do, until yesterday morning, was add in other unsolved murders. I can't focus if my map has too much info that might night be connected to the case I'm working, so I don't usually include "might be related" locations. But yesterday morning, the Manorville and Hemstead cases just grabbed me, so I figured what the heck, map it and see. It fit perfectly within my loop.
But without Carbuff's mapping, I still wouldn't have had the full picture. He added info from cases I wasn't even aware of, and figured out the roads (which was really stumping me!).
So this morning, I need to do some research into the unsolved cases he mapped that involved prostitutes being strangled. Exact c.o.d of the 4 known victims, so very interesting to me. I had never even heard of those cases. Carbuff is the man (or woman)!![]()

I THINK it was MW but I may be confused. Per the following link, MW's bf and baby's clothes were found in the hotel room the next morning. That is a new tidbit that I didn't know.

I have many distractions this morning interfering with my sleuthing:waitasec: so I'll have to locate a link to your question later. Or maybe someone who knows for sure will jump in and answer for us.

The interview with ALC's roommate was touching. You can't fake that kind of emotion. You can tell he really cared about her.
An interesting contrast to the coldness of the Oak Beach residents, isn't it?

Hi Filly,
No, I am not a psychic and I don't believe in them at all. Trust, a real psychic would be able to predict lotto numbers and until somebody can accurately predict mega millions for every drawing then that's when I'll believe in them.
Things just come to me. I can't explain it but I've learned to recognize and appreciate it. It's nothing that I can turn on or off like we do a light with a switch. I don't seek it out--it just comes when it I need to know or be aware.
I've been told that it is the gift of insight. I'm not sure what to call it but it ain't psychic.
I heard MW and her bf's clothes were left in the hotel, and thought that was strange. This is the first I've heard of baby clothes being left. So, after MW didn't return, AC just bolted from the hotel room without bothering to take his belongings? Doesn't add up. Unless he was arrested the same night, then he'd have to leave his clothes, I guess. But why on earth would there be baby clothes with them. If they took the baby with them (ewww!), who had the baby that night. Not Megan. If AC had the baby, then he obviously didn't get arrested. Unless he did and the baby ended up with social services, which may be the case, we don't know.
Oy.
Or maybe the baby had been left with AC's family. I think I read somewhere that he would go visit family while MW worked. This is what I am hoping cuase like you said, EWW!
Thank you internetgirl101 and Mountain Kat for clearing up the question carbuff asked.
OT Dear bf is off work today and I am playing secretary helping him type letters, resumes, cover sheets etc. for his next project so I hope you all excuse me for being slack with links today! :innocent:
