This one hurts my heart just a little asI have an acquaintance whose adult child moved to NY and died in an accidental balcony fall. In that case the decedent was a tenant in the building and therefore able to be ID’d but it was such a sad and unnecessary way to die.

Still zero ruleouts for this man. I wonder whether his is not White but perhaps mixed race, perhaps Sth Asian? Anyone care to look at the PM photo (not gruesome) on his Namus? The case was just updated recently but I'm not sure what they added.

Cases submitted to NamUs, and investigators ~10 months ago: this unidentified, and Robert Villarreal. On Apr 13, 2023, a forensic anthropologist for the Office of Chief Medical Examiner New York City contacted me stating she was "communication with the Michigan State Police regarding a scientific comparison." Thought I'd post some old submissions.
