Human skeletal remains found in Upstate NY

Human remains have been found in Upstate New York., according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.

WBNG reports hunters found the skeletal remains of a human body in a wooded area off Bowlby Road in the town of Elmira on Tuesday. The sheriff’s office said authorities were unable to identify the age or sex of the person due to the skeleton’s condition.

The article says that the remains were found with Kizik sneakers, which is a brand I don't know, so I Googled when the brand was founded -- this article says 2017, so that makes me think the remains couldn't be Michael.

Both have brown hair, blue eyes, are in the same age range, and are relatively around the same height/weight.

Faces look similar to me as well but there's no mention of scars.

I think it's a possibility. Brown hair and blue eyes together is less common. The dates are so close. Same state - New York.
