K9, state police, and a drone participated in this evenings 6pm search efforts at Niagara Falls. There are ongoing search parties meeting daily at 12 and 6pm and meet at The Cave of The Winds before breaking down into smaller groups.

I can see a possibility of a text from her that night being spoofed, but not a prolonged contact (we don't know if text or voice) with someone throughout the afternoon and evening, up until 1am. IMO it was her using her phone the entire time.

I agree, I think it was always her using her phone, even if her tone changed. It could be more indicative of her mental state.
 
Who else could have seen Saniyya's purported last Snapchat story (brought up in MSM) from the falls on the night in question, apart from the person who commented on it the next day and reported it to police once they realized she was missing? Her friends? Her family? Could she limit the audience to exclude some of those who were following her on Snapchat? The story would have disappeared in 24 hours. How come nobody else came forward about seeing it?

I tend to think it was her using her phone throughout most of the day, but I'm skeptical of the usage beyond her leaving the dorm. Does anyone know what time mom read the "strange" text from Saniyya's phone? I know the text is reportedly timestamped at about 12:21 a.m. but is this also the time mom read the message?

Her uncle said at the press conference that she was communicating with the same person from 2pm until 1am. If her phone were stolen/taken after 11pm, I doubt there would be (possibly multiple) more exchanges with the person she talked to in the afternoon. The person on the other end would have noticed it wasn't her immediately (IMO). Also, if there's video footage of her on the buses she took, she might be seen using her phone there. It would take her about an hour to get to NF. Her father seems to believe that she went to NF to meet with someone. When was her phone stolen or taken from her?

Julia Stevens it the search organizer. According to another article she is with Allies for Black Justice.

“Clothing items, a cell phone was found, a bracelet was found – all of these could be the utmost importance because we have absolutely no information on what happened to Saniyya Dennis,” added Stevens.

The items found could just be stuff that other people lost or knowingly left behind in the park. Saniyya did wear a distinctive necklace in some of her pictures.

ALSO- I have learned there are NO cameras on Goat Island according to multiple law enforcement sources. There is one camera on Prospect Park.

That amazes and frightens me. I have more cameras at my house than the US parks service and homeland security has in one of the most heavily trafficked tourist areas in the world that is an actual international border?

Obviously most of the island is pretty wild and undeveloped but the area she was in has parking lots, snack bars, and well lit pedestrian walkway and is traversed by a million people a year. In the summer there are thousands of people at a time on Goat island and more in Prospect park.

Ironically, it is probably one of the most photographed places in the world too. I have been going on youtube and insta checking out videos of people at the falls on the day after she went missing, just in case I could spot her or something of interest. I haven't found anything but not for lack of photos/video.
 
For this I'm assuming that she was in the park on her phone until 1am. What happened afterwards?

Since she can't be found and there were no cameras around, what are the chances that the police can at least establish if she was meeting someone in the park? The person she was last in contact with should help in trying to determine why she was there.

Breaking News: Buffalo Police are investigating a scene at the foot of Ferry St. on the Niagara River.

Buffalo Police Captain Jeffrey Rinaldo confirmed to 7 Eyewitness News a white male's body had been found there.

This is in Buffalo and probably isn't connected to Saniyya's case.

Buffalo River Update - Police Confirm Body Found Is NOT the Missing Buffalo State Student and is that of a Male. No further info as of yet.

Write your Congressmembers to fund US Park Service and to include money for security.

I agree, I'm surprised at the lack of cameras in that particular spot too.
