That's a crazy amount of money considering the neighborhood Bradley lived in. Not a super-bad neighborhood by any means, but very much working class/borderline low-income, etc. Perhaps that was just a rumor the woman told them.

A Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas jury on Friday decided against the death penalty for the man convicted in the brutal murders of a Bedford father and daughter.

Judge Kelly Ann Gallagher will sentence Kodii Gibson to prison time at a later date.

Trials for Ronald Newberry and Demarcus Sheeley are scheduled to begin Friday; the men will face the death penalty if convicted.

At the very least it should be LWOP. After a crime this serious, they shouldn't be allowed out to prey upon innocent people.

I don't know much about this judge, but I'm not impressed. Local pols have a tendency to run candidates for judicial seats who have the same Irish or Italian last names. They're not always good at what they do, they just have a popular last name. It's really terrible. She wasn't even recommended by the local bar associations. That's bad.

It looks like she replaced the now-retired Judge Jose Villanueva, who was an excellent judge and is a terrific person.

They were all also sentenced today. Two with life sentences and on with a 15 year sentence if I read correctly.
