At about 18:50 and 20:50 there is a short view of Billy's left hand and the "bracelet". It almost looks like it has an antenna attached - 3 white stiff strings?

We'll have to pay attention tomorrow and see if G4 has something similar on.

I thought Billy was particularly surly today and got testy when Deering was questioning him about - are you happy with your lawyers. He didn't just answer yes, but - "well so far".

I see 'Yes, your honor' has reverted back to 'yeah'.

I think it is just a plain tan wristband, nothing attached, just the end sticking out.

Yes, it looks like a white stiff "string" is attached but I think that is just how it looks in the photo. I think it is just the end of the wrist band sticking out like those hospital wrist bands always do.

Didn't we once speculate that it was some sort of covering for his scorpion tattoo? Just checked, the scorpion is on his right hand. Maybe he got a new tattoo while in jail. More likely, as you all say, its a security device of some kind.

Just thought this would be a good time to remember the victims

I've had another good look and have come to the conclusion that it's there on his left wrist to get folk talking!

So tomorrow with George a Dauert Hearing will be scheduled and might take 2 days. Billy's defense is going to go along with those dates so both George and Billy's defense can get the Daubert witnesses at the same time. I assume this is so they do not have to fly the witnesses in twice.

Billy's defense will find out if this entails both ballistic and shoeprint experts. We know with George a Daubert Hearing was mentioned for the shoeprints but we don't know if George's defense will want a Daubert Hearing for the ballistics. Billy's defense wants Daubert for both shoe print and ballistics.

George "Billy" Wagner III seen leaving the Pike County Courthouse on Nov. 17 after a brief pretrial hearing. There is another officer directly behind the one in front.

Billy's defense wants a Hearing on the Motion regarding the co-defendant's statements by August 31st, 2022. They said they still have work to put into this.

Motion 45 - DEFENDANT'S MOTION IN LIMINE REQUESTING A PRETRIAL EVIDENTIARY HEARING TO DETERMINE THE ADMISSIBILITY OF ANY NON-TESTIFYING CO-DEFENDANT STATEMENTS THE STATE INTENDS TO PRESENT IN ITS CASE IN CHIEF

They also have work to do on mitigation, they said the mitigation having to do with the DP.

They want the trial no later than October 31st, 2022.
"That will give us enough lee-way if we had to pick another venue or things like that."
One thing in determining a change of venue is they want to see how George's trial goes.

There are colors of wristbands that have certain meanings for inmates in some jails. Some can be medical and other things. Not sure what his may be for.

Some jails also use wristbands to keep up with inmates and their information I believe. He does not have one on each time, so I am not sure.

Wrist bands (or clinchers) are classification codes, Most are barcodes, some even have rfi chips used to track an inmate. Not sure if Butler County uses them.

Prisons use wrist bands of different colors for different reasons. A yellow wristband means the prisoner has a health condition . A white wristband stands for general population.

My niece worked at the prison in Warren , her husband is a sheriff deputy. I’m waiting on a response from them regarding Billy’s wristband.

Lives would be in danger if the Wagners escaped but the Wagner's lives are in danger also.

I just can’t get over how cocky Billy Wagner was acting when the judge ask if he was satisfied with his attorneys and how he is getting treated, (like he should have a say in anything, I know he has rights but I can’t forget how he took the Rhodens/Giley rights away) send his but to prison and hurry, we have put up with him to long already, JMO

*Motions & Pretrial Hearings (@ 9am ET) - OH - Pike County 8 people dead: Christopher Rhoden, Sr. (40), his ex-wife, Dana Manley Rhoden (37), their three children, Clarence "Frankie" Rhoden (20), Christopher Jr. (16), Hanna Mae (19); Frankie's fiancée, Hannah Hazel Gilley (20), Christopher Rhoden Sr.'s brother, Kenneth Rhoden (44), & a cousin, Gary Rhoden (37). Hanna Rhoden's baby girl (5 days old), another baby (6 mos.) and a young child (3) were unharmed. (April 21-22, 2016, Pebbles) – for *George Washington Wagner IV (27/now 30) (Jakes’ bro) indicted (11/12/18), arrested (11/13/18), charged (11/15/18) & arraigned (11/28/18) with 8 counts aggravated murder, (plus gun specifications on each), 1 count of 1st degree conspiracy, 4 counts of 1st degree aggravated burglary, 1 count of 5th degree unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance, 3 counts of 3rd degree evidence tampering, 1 count of 5th degree forgery, 1 count of 5th degree unauthorized use of computer or telecommunications, 1 count of 4th degree interception of wire, oral or electronic communication, 1 count of 5th degree obstructing justice, 1 count of 1st degree engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. (Det. Scheiderer: We know the three calibers of firearms that were used to commit these murders. a 22 caliber long rifle, a 40 caliber, and a 30 caliber). Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will seek the DP. Per Jake’s plea agreement, DP is off the table if his testimony is truthful.
Trial set to begin on 4/4/22. (3 month trial).

Canepa said Jake said in his proffer that George didn't shoot anyone but she also said that doesn't mean that he actually did not. And Jake contradicted himself at times in the proffer. And that over the 12 hours of the proffer testimony Jake has George as being complicit in the crimes. All 4 were offered plea deals & only Jake took one at first. The Bill of Particulars covers the crime of being complicit in the murders & should bring the same punishment. Defense admits the prosecution has George as being complicit in all the charges but George had no intent towards any of it. Supplemental Discovery info changed from 12/31/21 to 1/7/22 for full discovery (evidence & motions) for both sides. Next motions hearing on 2/2/22 @ 9am. GW4 is in Montgomery County jail now, not Ross County. Was moved on 12/22/21.

*Rita Jo Newcomb (65/now 68) – Last Motions hearing on 12/2/19 entered a plea of guilty. Expected to testify in the trials.
*Fredericka Carol Wagner (76/now 79) – 6/26/19 Charges were dismissed without prejudice. Civil Case hearing on 2/17/22.

I was away from this thread and hadn't heard about Leonard Manley's passing. Leonard was right from the beginning. He knew about Dana's "evil ones" and what they wanted. He spoke about the child custody problem just days after his family was taken from him. I'm truly saddened by his passing at only age 70. I do know he's blissfully happy now reunited with those he grieved for so much. God granted him peace. Prayers as always for those left behind <3

Daubert Hearing is not scheduled for today it is suppose to get scheduled for a future date today.
