What I don't understand is why George didn't take a deal if he really didn't kill anyone. Why didn't he agree to testify and share what he knew if he was really only part of planning before. I believe it's because he was there, did shoot his gun (weather his bullets killed anyone or not I don't know, but I believe he was involved way more than the defense has suggested). He had the most to lose because if he really wasn't involved that night, I don't believe he didn't know about it at all until after they were arrested. This family operated as one. He knew and he had a chance to take a deal and explain how little involvement he had and what he knew and he didn't take it. I really don't know what the defense is thinking.
I suppose he might think his 'deal' was Ma and brother claiming he did nothing and is hoping that will set him free.

I think we may see the death penalty back on the table, but in Ohio that only equals life in prison. I say that because I think Ma and J will be caught in some lies.

Is he attempting to intimidate witnesses? Maybe not directly, but does he think this look will make them nervous? It can't be going over well with the jurors. I'd be leery just sitting in court knowing he's seeing me day after day.

I noticed he scanned the gallery too, first time I've seen him look that direction.

Time for me to have a break, a smoke and a coffee. I hope there's not another 3 pages to catch up on when I get back

Where can I hear Luke Rhoden's testimony and latest testimony?

Who has best testimony?

Super busy week.
I"m watching this link for Law&Crime via youtube. NO commercials/interruptions like their TV site. They have subtitles, but not really good.

Mannnn, that small grow in Kenny's basement bldg was ready to harvest, did you SEE that evidentiary photo? Those plants were gorgeous and full term. These dudes were growing the GOOOD GOOOD.
And we know Chris Sr. had grows in the garage loft, the semi trailer and the green outbuilding, as stated by LE in previous testimony. I just want to know how far along the crop was and HOW full was that outbuilding? That semi trailer?
I don't care that the cop testified he has seen bigger grows, I have too. But that green outbuilding, alone, can set you up for life. Quickly, when you're growing bud like that.
Can't wait to see the photos of the outbuilding grow.
IMO, these guys deserve the respect that comes with being a master grower--at least where I'm from.

The sub-titles are rubbish aren't they, some make no sense at all, gives me a laugh in places.

Thanks for that link. CTV is terrible for me and I can stream Youtube to my tv.

CTV still hasn't shown defense questioning of LR. They break it up far too much.

Totally agree. Lots of money comes from those plants. I wonder if the government seized the cash. I don't think the grows diminish the fact that the family was brutally murdered. In fact, I give credit to the Rhoden's for finding a way to lift themselves out of poverty.

^^BBM

With JW and AW agreeing to cooperate with the state, the prosecution did not need GW4 so I don't think he was offered a deal. IMO, the defense here is hoping that at least one juror will be reluctant to convict because it's difficult to understand and/or accept felony murder laws where the accomplice and conspirator to murder are as guilty as the triggerman.

What we know for certain is that GW4 did nothing to warn and/or prevent the massacre.

Precisely!! The pill mills and wholesale heroin distributors were and are the cash cows. No one cares and.no one has the resources to worry about MJ, growers and distributors, IMO. Dime A Dozen!!
I agree Ohioexpat, very few in rural America care or think badly of people who use, grow or distribute MJ, and to be honest not many care about cockfights. I am sure the defense is going to attempt to use these to paint the Rhoden victims in a bad light, but I don't think it will work.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

Chris Sr was not growing a few plants for his friends or family as has been stated time and time again. Even the last witness said that his father was trafficking in cannabis. Notice he did not say just growing. Also, I am interested in what the defense will present regarding the alleged trips to Mexico. People do not sell cannabis to Mexico cartels; people do purchase opioids though from the cartels, something that many Pike County area residents seemed to abuse.

Cockfighting has been confirmed by at least one witness, or perhaps two (I have missed some testimony). I do give credit to the Rhoden relatives that have agreed to testify under camera and video, unlike the LEO's. I wonder if the fear of not testifying by Pike County "finest" is perhaps their fear of coming out looking like a bunch of the fictional character Goober Pyles.

Luke Rhoden back on the stand now for defense questioning. According to Scioto Valley Guardian words on bottom of screen, right before lumch break all afternoon witnesses have opted out of audio and video. I'm not sure how accurate that is.ETA-So everyone after Luke is done testiyfing.

The narrow leaves are indicative of a predominately sativa strain, whereas the predominately indicias have wider leaves. It is all about genetics.
