I suppose he might think his 'deal' was Ma and brother claiming he did nothing and is hoping that will set him free.What I don't understand is why George didn't take a deal if he really didn't kill anyone. Why didn't he agree to testify and share what he knew if he was really only part of planning before. I believe it's because he was there, did shoot his gun (weather his bullets killed anyone or not I don't know, but I believe he was involved way more than the defense has suggested). He had the most to lose because if he really wasn't involved that night, I don't believe he didn't know about it at all until after they were arrested. This family operated as one. He knew and he had a chance to take a deal and explain how little involvement he had and what he knew and he didn't take it. I really don't know what the defense is thinking.
I think we may see the death penalty back on the table, but in Ohio that only equals life in prison. I say that because I think Ma and J will be caught in some lies.
