and I imagine state went down the drugs rabbit hole as to why they were killed, it is obvious CRsr was earning a lot of money off growing and selling drugs for years, which is what the Wagners wanted them to believe,

It was so sad to see James testify, he and his whole family will be heartbroken for the rest of their lives,

Interesting items from James Manley's testimony (he did a great job, BTW):

His cell phone wasn't working that day or night before, he was out of time, ie out of minutes/data
He sometimes used April's cell phone, hers was working, he used it to call his boss to check whether to work that day
He says he never received any text from Jake the night of the murders

He didn't really know Jake or Billy Wagner very well. Only saw Billy a couple of times at Chris's, saw Jake occasionally at holiday/family events. He sometimes came to Len Manley's house

Remember we heard all the happy talk from the Wagners about how Jake and James were good friends, worked on derby cars, etc. All BS

Interesting line of questioning from Parker. He wants to throw out red herrings that the murders were done over Chris Sr drug deals or something. I hope AC brings in witnesses who will talk about all the Wagners drug dealing. JMO

Parker also tried to throw out red herrings implying that James had been to Dana's already, that he knew she was dead before he went there after the other murders happened. Same old BS rumors that floated around in the early years, no truth to them, but Parker probably hopes at least one juror falls for it.

They ended the court day at 3:30 or so yesterday. I wonder if they will keep going longer today?

I don't think that information was fully revealed yesterday. They did say that Billy shot Kenneth Rhoden, Chris Sr and Gary Rhoden and that Jake took the gun away from George 4 to shoot through the door at Chris.

Billy went inside Chris's trailer with him. He made some fake thing about asking Chris to ping his cell phone because he lost it. Jake then took the gun away from GW4 outside and shot Chris through the door. Billy then shot Chris several times, killing him and shot Gary, killing him. IIRC, at Chri's Billy used the Ruger.

ETA: Jake's shot through the door from outside wounded Chris. It shattered his arm and embedded wood splinters in his arm, face, etc.

in my opinion this sniper lie of jakes if exploited could bring the best possible outcome to this trial.

id bet anything g4 fired that shot. he was the trophy sharpshooter. it was his rifle with a nightscope his personal sniper. an sks is not a common gun its a variation of an ak47 with a very small clip. the bullet may have a small diameter but is an extremely heavy cartridge high powder. this is not kind of thing u pass to someone underneath a truck because hes takning too long. george fired that shot. hell maybe he froze up after and that led to the melle.

if ac can impeach jake on this one statement by physically calling into question the mechanics of the gun passing incident- 4 is convicted and all 3 wagner men MAY be headed to death row. where they belong.

i have never heard of a plea deal especially for a heinous murder where the person making the deal can save his co defendants life while admitting they all slaughtered a family. lets put these evil people where they belong death row. even if they never kill them- parole no way and its much more restrictive 23 hour lock down i believe. this is what jake deserves for the next 60 years to sit there and stew or take the cowards way out and kill himself.

In spite of the state having a ton of evidence, plus full confessions from Jake and Angela, plus the murder weapons, the defense still wants to imply terrible stuff about the victims.

Also: Thanks, James Manley for agreeing to testify on video. LIke his dad, he probably wanted to make sure the public could see him tell what happened.

I was wondering about this, but wasn't sure of the technical aspect of the guns, etc.

If Jake is lying, he's taking one heck of a risk. He would be putting all of them on Death Row, with the exception of Angela.
