The vehicle the two are believed to be traveling in is a stolen, gray 2018 Chevrolet Camaro with Ohio license plate HAQ8308.

Beane Sr., the child’s non-custodial father, is considered armed and dangerous, according to officials. Police said Beane Sr. pistol-whipped the child’s mother before abducting him Wednesday morning.

Why why do these people abduct these babies ?? This will only be killed or sent to prison. Can they not move on from whatever went wrong in their relationships ? This creep I suspect is taking revenge on the poor mom, and does not have the child's best interests and welfare in mind. Makes me so sick,

May the little guy be found safe....asap.

wow, the article said he was "located in Mansfield", but they didn't really mean they had found him.

Journalism is just not what it used to be.

Police still seeking Elyria man who left hospital

An Elyria man is still on the loose after walking away from a hospital while on medical furlough from Lorain County Jail.

Robert Beane III, 27, of Broad Street, was arrested July 2 on a secret indictment of kidnapping, aggravated robbery, felonious assault, having weapons while under disability and theft. Many of the counts also contained firearms and repeat violent offender specifications.

Three days later, after being arraigned on the charges, Beane was granted a medical furlough by Lorain County Common Pleas Court Judge Raymond Ewers, who is the judge assigned to all of Beane’s cases.
