*Sentencing Hearing (@ 1:30pm CT) - OK – 3 yr. old/now 5 (Jan. 27, 2020: beaten w/belt, strapped to table & forced to wear shock collar for a week, Collinsville) – *Jeannette Leigh (or Lee) Wilson (24/now 26) “mom” arrested (3/1/20), charged (3/11/20) & arraigned (4/21/22) with 5 counts of child abuse or neglect, 1 count of enabling child neglect & 1 count of conspiracy. $2M bond.

9/15/22: District Court arraignment. Judge Pazzo presiding. ADA Strain, attorney Milner present with defendant. Defendant present in RCJ custody. State does not waive jury trial at this time; matter set for pretrial conference/blind plea on 10/20/22. 9/23/22: Letter from Jeanette Wilson. 9/29/22: Waiver of jury trial.
10/20/22 update: Present: Judge Pazzo & ADA Strain. Hearing held for blind plea. Defendant currently in the Rogers County jail & is present with attorney Milner. Defendant sworn; advised of rights; waivers right to a trial; enters a plea of no contest. The court accepts the plea & finds the defendant guilty. Pre-sentencing investigation & report requested. -Prosecutors did not offer any type of deal to Gustus Pennington, so he'll be sentenced by a judge in May.
