OK - Oaklee Snow, 2, found deceased, Cromwell, 19 Jan 2023 *arrest*

On Tuesday, authorities in Colorado told KFOR that Waters’ mugshot is still not available.

Many at the vigil said they believe Oaklee is somewhere near Indianapolis. They vow not to give up until she’s found.

“We’re not going to stop until she is home, regardless of the outcome,” said Kelley.

Tonight’s event raised more than 600 dollars.

Zachary Snow said he expects to get an update from the FBI sometime this week.

A small group of Central Indiana residents gathered to pray and help get the word out about the missing girl on Monday evening. They handed out fliers with Oaklee’s photo and info on the case to people walking near the City Market in downtown Indianapolis.

"What a challenge to be in a completely different state than where your daughter ends up missing,” said Janie Sue Dubbs, who helped organize the event. “That's got to be even more frustrating for the family.”

Dubbs is the creator of a true crime podcast called Justice Served Daily and she highlighted Oaklee Snow’s case on her show. She connected with the girl’s family in Oklahoma through Facebook and planned the event in Indiana hoping to help find answers.

"We are trying to keep her face out there and make everybody aware that there's a little girl missing,” Dubbs said. “Although she is from Oklahoma, we've adopted her as a Hoosier. We want to go out and help find her.”

So what we feared all along is now to be believed. If she was alive she would have been in someone's care and turned in to the authorities long before now. And the article links to another announcing the discovery of a child's body in Morgan County which IIRC is adjacent to Indianapolis. I hope those miserable buffoons receive the healthy portion of justice they deserve.

Noting:
  • Multiple law enforcement sources tell FOX59/CBS4 the child’s body was found in the Morgan-Monroe State Forest.
  • The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said they are the lead investigating agency in regards to the deceased child with Indiana State Police and the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department assisting in the investigation.
  • At this time, police are not releasing any information about what led detectives to the remains and if the remains are connected to any other case.
  • Recent court documents confirmed that IMPD investigators believe that missing 2-year-old Oaklee Snow is dead and that her body was disposed of somewhere in Indiana. IMPD would not speak on if those latest developments are related to the child’s remains found in Morgan County.
  • Police said the Morgan County Coroner’s Office will be responsible for identifying the remains who will then notify IMPD.

Wonder if Oaklee's mother 'talked' ?
Indiana is a death penalty state. IF this is OS, if she did talk, could DP have been taken off the table in exchange for telling where OS's remains could be found? There is also a missing 8 month old from Indianapolis, missing since 2019-Amiah Robertson. She has a separate thread on WS.

Stephens said the area does not usually get much foot traffic, but it may start to pick up this time of year.

“The location that I referred to is not normally traveled by an everyday person on a walk,” he said. “So chances are if someone’s remains were found in this area, it would be by someone looking for mushrooms, which we’re beginning to get into mushroom season here in the next two or three weeks.”

Madison Marshall, 22, was being held in the Marion County jail on Friday, records show. She faces two counts of neglect of a dependent in the disappearance of her daughter, Oaklee Mae Snow, and the abandonment of her 7-month-old son in Indianapolis back in February.

Records show Marshall was booked into the Marion County Adult Detention Center on Thursday. She is scheduled to appear Monday in Marion Superior Court for an initial hearing on two counts of neglect. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of two-and-a-half years in prison if convicted.

The mother of a missing 2-year-old Oklahoma girl is facing charges in Indiana.

According to records, 22-year-old Madison Marshall was being held in the Marion County jail on Friday. Marshall is facing two counts of neglect of a dependent.

In the affidavit, officials stated, “It is believed that she is deceased and disposed of.”

According to The Associated Press, a child’s remains were found during a search of central Indianapolis, police said on Friday. However, police could not confirm the age, sex or identity of the child, and also could not disclose where the remains were found, the AP said.

It’s hard for me to understand why people like Oakley’s mom fight so hard to have custody of a child they find the need to abuse and neglect. The child was with her dad and apparently safe. Meanwhile, she had her child abusing boyfriend wanted to go do drugs at trap houses. So she steals her tiny children, one of whom was abused by her fine new man, so he can abuse her again, while they do a bunch of drugs? Why?

Here is a link to the aforementioned article about a child's body being found in Morgan county, which was linked in the article about Oaklee. Apparently LE won't comment on if they are related.

Child’s remains found in Morgan County

Edited to add: I'm not great at maps and didn't know/save specific addresses if they were ever given, but if you search the distance between Indianapolis and The Morgan-Monroe State forest, Google maps puts them about 39 miles apart / 57 min drive, taking mostly I-69

Her bail is set at $2,000 cash.
Marshall’s boyfriend, Roan Waters, is already facing charges of child abuse, domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor. Police think he hit Snow in the face last November, causing injuries to her mouth and lips.
