A judge is granting a petition to allow a grand jury to take another look at a murder case.
Two sisters were killed in 1987 after leaving the Oklahoma State Fair.
"No family should wait 36 years for justice," family friend Dorian Quillen said.
A judge signed a petition for the family to get 500 or more signatures in 45 days.
If they succeed, a grand jury can come in and look at the case
In 1987, the pair goes missing after leaving leaving State Fair the Oklahoma State Fair with some guys.
Their bodies turn up a month later.
Until now it's a case gone cold, weighing heavy on the family's hearts.
"They want the evidence tested according to the latest DNA standards," Quillen said. "They want the people who run around town confessing to be investigated. Let the chips fall after that."
