Monday, July 25th:
*Evidentiary Hearing (@ 8:30am ET) – PA – Conner Snyder (8) & Brinley L. Snyder (4) (Sept. 23, 2019, Albany Township; found hanging from basement rafters) - *Lisa Rachelle Snyder (36/now 39) “mom” arrested (12/2/19), charged (12/9/19) & arraigned (3/12/20) with 2 counts of 1st degree murder, 2 counts of 3rd degree murder, 1 count of tampering with or fabricating evidence, 2 counts of endangering the welfare of children, 1 counts of animal cruelty & 2 counts of sexual intercourse with an animal (with a dog). 9/2/21: Animal cruelty & sex with dog severed from original charges. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will seek DP.

3/2/22 Update: Defense attorneys Dennis Charles & James Burke argue in the brief that although they instructed State police & district court officials that Snyder should not be questioned without them present, they believe she may have made statements before she was advised of her right to remain silent. Charles said in court the defense would also seek to exclude any statements that Snyder made to child welfare officials in the months after her children’s deaths. Snyder’s lawyers also say State police lacked probable cause to search her Albany Township home & seize electronic devices including a cellphone, a touch-screen tablet & a laptop computer because they failed to explain how the devices were connected with the deaths of her children. They also argue that the data downloaded from the devices was improperly obtained & should be excluded. Judge Paul Yatron scheduled a 5/25/22 evidentiary hearing to hear testimony from prosecution witnesses on three issues raised in a motion to suppress certain evidence Snyder’s lawyers argue would be inflammatory & cause jurors to be biased against her.

As much as I want to puke everytime I'm reminded of this case, I know there will be some justice coming for these sweet kids. (Actually, I can't think of punishment that would be enough...)

I imagine today's status hearing will touch on the defense's motions to suppress (which I expect will fail).

Yes, much of LS's behavior leading up to the horrific demise of the children at the hand of the mother is and would be difficult to look past but it's also a matter of facts. Personally, I'd love to unread/unhear it all myself. MOO o_O

I want this settled so badly! I know how serious mental health problems can be but IMO she knew exactly what she was doing.

I couldn’t agree more.

I just saw a clip on TV where a defense attorney requested two more weeks to assess his client’s mental health. The defendant jumped on him in court. It was, let’s say, insane. I’m of the feeling the defendant thought two more weeks would find her fit for trial. I’m saying this as a gut feeling because I haven’t even researched this to see what case it is.
