FBI offers reward for missing Wilkes-Barre woman
WILKES-BARRE — City police said the FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Danielle Drozdowski, 25, who was last seen on Irving Place in South Wilkes-Barre in January.

Police said Drozdowski has been reported missing by her family.

Drozdowski is wanted by U.S. Marshals in connection to a federal case at which she pleaded guilty in November 2012, to conspiring with her then boyfriend, Hasan Woods, to distribute cocaine in Luzerne County.

Drozdowski was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Edwin Kosik on March 20, 2013, to two years of supervised release.

A probation violation in June 2014 resulted in Drozdowski being returned to federal custody until June 17, when Kosik released her on her own recognizance ordering her to reside at a woman’s shelter in Wilkes-Barre, court records say.

Drozdowski was last seen in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Her family last heard from her when she made a post on her Facebook page on March 19, 2014. She was supposed to testify before a grand jury as a confidential police informant in August 2014, but never showed up for her court appearance and has never been heard from again.

In April 2015, Drozdowski's family reported her missing and the FBI announced a reward for her whereabouts; she was wanted by federal authorities in connection to a drug case. In November 2012, she had pleaded guilty to conspiring with her then-boyfriend, Hasan Woods, to distribute cocaine in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Woods was sentenced to ten years in prison in February 2013 for his role in the case.

The circumstances of Drozdowski's disappearance are unclear. There has been no sign of her since 2014.

Drozdowski was 25 years old when she disappeared in spring 2014. After a decade, family members who have long held out hope that she would one day turn up are beginning to fear the worst.

“My sister was the type where she was kind of a wild child,” Liz Atkinson said. “She would disappear for a month or two, but she would never go out of contact for longer than that.”

According to family members and court documents, in the final months before she went missing, Drozdowski found herself entangled with members of a dangerous gang and gangsta rap group from Brooklyn, New York.

They dealt heroin and cocaine, prostituted children, threatened witnesses and murdered at least one rival gang member.

They called themselves Together Forever, or the TF Mafia.

“That word is very scary just to think about,” said Drozdowski’s aunt, Pam Kerick, who noted she did not remain close with her niece in adulthood. “I think about her and I pray for her. … It’s just a big hole — especially being so young and everything. It’s just heartbreaking.”

Earlier this month, state troopers renewed their yearslong appeals for information on the whereabouts of Drozdowski, who had become a confidential informant and was getting ready to testify before a grand jury.

Dubbed a “snitch” by the gang, she had previously been viciously beaten — “left for dead,” in Kerick’s words — because of what she had to say about members of the TF Mafia. More…
