I know!

I'm worried about the comment where someone asks if they've checked Kensington.

That's not a good sign! ☹️

I noticed that as well. I am unfamiliar with the area of Kensington, PA. I researched it. Holy cow Kensington Badlands is disturbing. I did not know such a place existed in the U.S.. This place is in NO WAY related to this MP(s) that I am aware of. I was just curious why it's thrown out in comments so much. In the pics it looks like a 3rd world country. I assume it's mentioned bc it's notorious MOO.

Fri., 2017.07.05 - Jimi Tar Patrick, late teens. Missing from his home near Hampton Bridge in Langhorne. Police report filed July 6.

"Newtown Township police said Patrick had not been seen or heard from since 6 p.m. Wednesday. He did not have contact with his family or friends and did not show up for work, "all of which is not normal for Jimi," police said in a statement. A missing person's report was filed about 4:45 p.m. Thursday. Patrick is a white male standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing gray shorts and polo shirt with a multi-colored design."

Fri., 2017.07.07 - Dean Finocchiaro, 18, of Hampton.

Last seen entering a vehicle around 6:30 P.M. on Hampton Drive. MPR filed with Newtown Twp PD.

"Finocchiaro is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes."

Fri., 2017.07.07 - "Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, and his friend Tom Meo, 21, of Doylestown. They were last seen Friday night in the area of Solebury Township."

Sun., 2017.07.09 - "...a man’s body was found Sunday afternoon in the Lehigh River in Carbon County.

The body, of an unknown white man between 20 and 40 years old, was discovered Sunday afternoon in Lower Towamensing Township, about ¾ of a mile north of the Bowmanstown Boat Launch."

"Obviously right now we're treating this as a criminal investigation but nobody is in custody and the search is ongoing," Bucks County First Assistant District Attorney Gregg D. Shore said Sunday night. He said the investigation into the missing men led the authorities to search the Solebury property near Meetinghouse Rd.

It is unclear how the four, possibly five, men are connected other than the friendship between Sturgis and Meo. It's pretty obvious, IMO, that LE are investigatimg the murders as related crimes.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of both men, please call 215-651-7064.

I received a request to merge this thread with the threads for the other men. Though I steongly suspect they are related, until LE announces that formally, it would be prudemt to keep separate threads for the time being, and wait at least a few days to see what comes of it.

But...that does not preclude you from pointing out similarities or connections you come up with. We only ask that you not post names of possible family or friends.

Send the information in a pm to a mod/admin, who can best advise you if and/or how you can share the info.

Do not ask other members because that might very well land you in hot water. ;)

Thanks.

The reason why it's mentioned is because our communities have been hit hard with the heroin epidemic. Many of our addicted go to Kensington on a regular basis, but there is enough in our back yards so it isn't the only place for them to find what they are looking for.

Whenever any teen or young adult is missing or dies, it's been the assumption that it's drug related. I'm not saying that's what happened here, just a large assumption by the general public in our area

It is less than 2 miles from Peddler's Village (where one car was found) to the property where another car was found

That's what my understanding was. My original post was something to this effect. "God I hope this isn't a group of 4 men overdosed in a wooded area somewhere." So as not to offend: "and for any in the group who may not use "attempts to resuscitate the friends who did accidentally overdose led to overdose death for the non-users" (bc of the absorption of fentanyl and on and on)
There's the suicide pact scenario which seems too bizarre to discuss. MOO Then I read about multiple cases of this recently happening. Still can't get into the head space required for all 4 men in tht scenario. So idk.

I'm hoping for: a few friends ditched their responsibilities to go to the shore. However unlikely. We do know a body was pulled from the water. Has not been identified yet.

The four have been identified as 22-year-old Mark Sturgis, of Pennsburg, 21-year-old Tom Meo, of Plumstead, 18-year-old Dean Finocchiario, of Middletown and Jimi Tar Patrick, of Newtown Township. Patrick's age has not been confirmed.

Finocchiario and Patrick were reported missing last week. Meo and Sturgis were reported missing Sunday.

Investigators say the men are friends, but it is unclear if there is any other connection.

State police conducted a search at a home in Solebury Township Sunday evening, but they are not saying what led them to the home.

Police have not said if the missing men are in any danger.

I couldn't find anything terribly revealing in any of the fb pages except that Tom and Mark are friends and Dean is friends with Tom's brother, so I think it's likely at least these three are connected somehow. This is really local for me, although I have no personal connection to anyone involved. The Fox morning show was on location at the abandoned property that was searched where one of the cars was found. It is very close to the shopping center where the other was found.

Kensington is a neighborhood in Philadelphia, not a separate town. It is notorious as a drug haven. Kensington is about a 30-45 min drive from the Bucks County areas where these teens disappeared from.

Here is Dean's thread: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?342760-PA-Dean-Finocchiaro-18-Langhorne-7-July-2017

Unless they drove up there or were driven to where the body was found, it isnt them. The river near where they were missing and the river where the body was found are connected. However, the body would have to flow upstream and also up several dams, so impossible to get there by water.
