I have read all the pages of this thread and what is the backstory of this case, TIA if someone has a link? I wonder why the little girl's mother didn't have full custody of her? Is she some kind of dangerous criminal or something? And why would they classify the child as missing & endangered if they knew she was with her mother? Shouldn't it have been classified a parental kidnapping? Strange.
 
the mother was actually a lawyer at one point.

idk the whole story but it seems to me as if they had shared custody and she didn't like that. so she took off w her. that is what I have surmised.

Thanks Richrd for posting up the info. It says in the most wanted article that the girl was found unharmed and is currently with child protective services. I thought she was returned to her father?
 
I really don't see a birth mother of her own child as a criminal, and i don't think she took her own little girl and kept her for nefarious purposes. We don't know the dynamics of the case and the custody battles between the parents if there were any, because in cases like that where there are custody issues it's not always simple? There are always two sides to a story, just sayin'. Maybe the mom couldn't stand being constantly separated from her little girl, we really don't know why she kept her daughter this time when i imagine at other times she returned Greer to the father. I think it's sad when children have to go between estranged parents for custody because they don't understand.
 
Millions of dads acros the world feel the same way. When parents can civilly cooperate then going between homes isn't an issue. Not the preferred set of circumstances, but not detrimental.

In reading the Upper Court Docket Sheet, a Mental Evaluation was ordered for Holly on 08/08/2016. Wonder if anything was found in this evaluation to be concerned with?

I sort of remember this case, just not the main details of the father. Looking back at it now, I question if this father is financially more secure than Holly? Thus, the high bail which father knew she would never be able to make.

It is wrong for either parent to disappear with a child! I have this nagging feeling there is more to this case than we know. While Holly was a lawyer, her husband must be able to outsmart her which I believe is what is happening in this case.

My opinions only.
