A blind woman who heard male voices in her home was saved by her guide dog. The dog lead the woman to the telephone to call police and then lead her out of her home.

The heartless brainyard Tomayo McDuffy who burglarized the woman then left all the gas burners on. McDuffy who is the poor woman's neighbor could have potentially blew up more than one house.

Hoping this poor lady will be alright.

Thank you for posting this!

Guide Dogs are very close to my heart and I donate every month to the foundation and my family has personally been involved in the raising of Guide dog pups. It is an extensive and expensive training program in order to get the dog to the stage where they are certified competent to be a Guide dog. Requirements are so strict many do not make it even all the training, they are very special animals. That being said, this Guide dog has literally saved this woman's life and is a reminder of how important service dogs are for the blind and other people who suffer from disabilities.

As for the absolute piece of ***** that broke into her place, I would love to get my hands on him!!! The poor lady would have been absolutely terrified and traumatized. I hope she is okay! :(

I hope the charges are severe, this world really worries me. :banghead:

Grace, the dog is beautiful. I saw the sweet dog on TV.

In the meantime they had all these young kids on TV saying their friend didn't do it. They are also looking for more suspects.

The world is frightening alright.

From November 2014:

It had been a remarkable story of a hero guide dog, calling 911 to save her blind owner during a home invasion. But now charges against a neighbor have been dismissed, and the defense says the whole thing was fabricated by the alleged victim...

McDuffy, who spent seven months in prison before he was freed on bail, says he now feels vindicated...

The legally blind woman was not available for comment and the District Attorney’s press release did not indicate if, with charges dropped against McDuffy, police are seeking any other suspects.
