That's the first time I've heard CV-19 mentioned in relation to him. It doesn't really make sense because he was working which is why TP had King to begin with. I'll go back and refresh my memory on what he said in the media but

JMO you can not make sense of this. Example O.K. a male "stepfather" figure gets handed this beautiful boy. He then passes him to a student/client. Right there! Is that normal? If he lives five minutes away or across the city you would go banging on the chicks da*n door!

King's biological mom. We don't know her story. Her struggle maybe? TP her own upbringing? Was it "normal"? Her roster certainly didn't look great coming up. Not her fault.

There's a conglomeration of people "raising" up a gorgeous child, and the ball kept getting dropped over and over. Here? People would ask "who got the check? Who got the food stamps?" Who "claimed" this baby?

No judgment. However, I've seen situations where I was like "Wait so Mr. James your new gentleman friend is watching your kids? Where's his kids?"

Again JMO TP was raised to be evasive. You learn to lie when it makes no sense. "Stepfather" very busy. "Sense makes sense" and ain't none of this makes sense.

Great post, just calling it what it is. IMO, it's ok to judge when a child dies. Most of us here are tuned to recognize and be sensitive to certain things. If some of the responsible parties in this case had "tuned in", King would be getting excited about seeing Santa about now

This is one reason why I find it so scary and heartbreaking that many public school kids across America have been out of school since March. School is an important touch point for a trained adult to lay eyes on a child. We’ve all seen some stories of teachers seeing abuse on Zooms. What about the kids not even able to get on a zoom and what about when the camera is off?

King may have been too young for school but that’s also one reason why head start and universal preschool are so important. Give disadvantaged kids the tools they need from the get go, make sure they are fed, and have another pair of watchful eyes on them. JMO.

Hope this won’t be removed for being slightly OT, but I think preventing these crimes should be a permitted line of discussion for WS. JMO.

Ms Betsy, spot on. Figure in 4th of July and many of our trash collectors coming down with Covid? Whatever the city says about trash collection is a big guess.

Example mine was today and it's still sitting out there.

Yes I remember it was said trash pick up was slow even if he was taken to an incinerator doesn't it take some time before they actually burn it? I remember little Noah Tomlin was found because they sifted through the trash before it was burned I'm just so worried without a body a good lawyer may get her out and I so wished King could have had a proper burial at least

That's a great question. I knew we had a "recycling" problem as to people going through the trouble to separate waste from recycling. Welllll, they're burning the recycling.

Hopefully all is not lost as apparently we still have at least three or four landfills. I believe in the part of the city where King was supposed to be the regular trash people don't take anything as "recyclable" for energy.

Hope that makes some sense. I would link to all I just looked up, but am on mobile. Honestly, nothing here gets done on time or promptly which could be a good sign.

*Arraignment Hearing (@ 11am ET) - PA – King Hill (2) (missing July 7, 2020, reported missing July 8, 2020 by stepfather, Philadelphia; not found, police say he is deceased; DOB 7/29/17) - *Tianna C. Parks (24/now 25) aka Tiana C. Parks was arrested (7/19/20), charged & arraigned (12/23/20) with felony murder (F1), endangering the welfare of children (F2), possession of an instrument of crime (M1), interference with custody of children (F3), abuse of corpse (M2), unsworn falsification to authorities (M2), false report (falsely incriminate another) to LE (M3), obstruction of justice (M2) & tampering/fabricating with evidence (M2). Held without bond.

7/20/20 Update: Arraignment hearing on 7/20/20. Next preliminary hearing on 8/5/20. 8/5/20 Update: Preliminary hearing has been rescheduled to 9/2/20. 9/2/20 Update: Preliminary hearing was continued to 12/2/20.
12/2/20 Update: Parks was ordered to stand trial for murder on Wednesday after prosecutors presented video and cellphone evidence that they said tied her to the slaying. Assistant DA Chesley Lightsey told Municipal Court Judge Joffie Pittman that Parks is accused of fatally injuring King Hill & disposing of his body in either the Schuylkill or in curbside trash in the 100 block of Penn Street. Based on internet searches Parks conducted on her cellphone around the time King disappeared, authorities believe she fractured his skull, killing him. “The force that it takes to do that shows intent,” Lightsey said, arguing that a jury should decide if Parks is guilty of 1st degree murder, which requires premeditation and malice, or 3rd degree murder, which requires malice but not premeditation. Judge Pittman ruled that a jury would decide between first- & third-degree murder. GPS data also indicated that on the morning of July 7, Parks spent about 20 minutes parked near Kelly Drive by the river, and in the 100 block of Penn Street. Philadelphia Homicide Detective Laura Hammond testified that on July 16, police received a tip that a body had been dumped in the trash in that Penn Street block. But by the time police arrived, the trash on that block had already been picked up, incinerated at a Chester waste management facility, then buried in a Bensalem landfill, Hammond testified. All charges were bound over for court except Possessing Instruments of Crime. The formal arraignment is scheduled for December 23rd at 11:00am.
