What does BBM mean?
Btw, his car is NOT missing. That was false reporting. The car is not missing.

"The Kia's whereabouts are known." - Lancaster Cnty DA

They don't say they have it, just that they know where it is. Why not just say "We have the car"?

Police: More details about missing Amish teen Linda Stoltzfoos

"Investigators could see a red sedan traveling along Beechdale Road around 12:42 p.m. The driver's side window was down and a white object could be seen on the front seat passenger side.

Authorities identified the vehicle as a red Kia Rio with a spoiler and stickers on the trunk. A records check showed that Justo Smoker, 34, of Paradise, owned a vehicle fitting that description, and he worked at a business in Gap.

Investigators drove to the business, saw the red Kia Rio in the parking lot and found that it matched the vehicle in the video. During their surveillance, police noted it left the business around 5:25 p.m. on July 8, and they later found it parked behind Smoker's apartment along the Lincoln Highway."
Thank you Daisy1980 very useful and informative link. They found stockings (presumably her's) tied in a knot.

Found an article I don’t believe was posted yet. Apologies if so, the thread certainly picked up with the sad news. Some details regarding Linda’s timeline that helps fill in some of the questions. Some other parts are repeats. (FYI It is also good because it links to a few local papers)

Pa. Teen Who Vanished Weeks Ago Walking Home from Church Was 'Harmed,' and Suspect Is Arrested

“The last time anyone saw 18-year-old Linda Stoltzfoos, on June 21, she was barefoot and carrying her shoes as she began to walk home after church on a rural Pennsylvania farm to change into something else for a youth group meeting....
...
According to the criminal complaint in the case, the missing teen's friend, Lillian Ebersole, told police that the two young women had been washing dishes together after a June 21 church service, which concluded around noon at a farm along Stumptown Road, when Stoltzfoos said she wanted to go home and change from her formal church clothes into a different outfit for a later youth group meeting, reports LancasterOnline.

Ebersole subsequently watched a barefoot Stoltzfoos walk away.

The missing woman's parents believed she had gone to the youth group event, while members of the youth group thought she was at home, causing hours to pass before her father called police to report his daughter missing when she didn't return.”

snipped by me for TOS

Cell records placed him at the business in Ronks at 1435. Meaning he abducted her around 1242 and by 230 he was casing the business where he buried two pieces of her clothing. Two hours.

I don't know how to feel about that.
Thankful it was over so quick, or horrified it was over so quick?

This man is a true piece of human trash. :(

The link says she walked home barefoot carrying her shoes, it does not mention her stockings at all. When they found articles of clothing buried in Ronks that is when they said the stockings were tied in a knot.

Police: More details about missing Amish teen Linda Stoltzfoos

This article says the Amish couple who noticed that Linda had a black covering and didn’t wave saw them in the Kia on Amish Road in Gap around 1:30. That location is about a 15 minute direct drive from her home. What was JS doing?

I missed that. so he was near there the 21st for around an hour, as well as the 23rd two different times, one of which photos of the inside of car were taken by a concerned person. Is that how you take that info as well?

The affidavit under #21 mentions "would be tied in a knot for her to carry as she walked barefooted home" but that seems like an assumption unless the girl who last saw her says so....which is not specifically mentioned. Side note, that girl who saw her last, I can't even imagine.:(

I think he assaulted her in Gap, possibly killing and burying her there as well; could be at or near his place of employment. He drove to. Ronks and buried clothing there. That's my take on the whole story.

If Amish women do not wear black hair coverings to church, then why was Linda wearing one, and where did it come from?
Could it be she wrapped the dark stockings around her head and tied them in a knot to show a sign she was in trouble?
Something's not adding up here.
