The sexual assaults occurred over years. The man has been arrested but the woman remains on the loose.

John Dehart, 56, of Camano Island, Washington, and Sarah Miller, 34, of Nanticoke, Luzerne County, took their clothing off and forced the child to perform sex acts with Miller, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by East Hempfield Township police. The child was related to the couple.

doing the math, from the opening linked article the abuse occurred from 2011 to 2013 when the victims were 4–6 years old. If Sara Miller is now 35 that would make her birth year 1989? So in 2011 she was what? 22? The victims were her own children and her cohort her own father. Was she raised in incest and groomed to provide future victims to her father??

During some naked incidents and shower assaults, Miller, told the children involved that these things were "normal" and as one victim said "since this was their mother saying these things, they believed her," as quoted in the affidavit for Miller's case.

Thank goodness these so-and-so's are off the street and behind bars -- hoping that they are there for a long, long time.

This is one of the worst I've seen since I joined WS.
So glad the physical torture is over. Now comes the mind-healing part which may take a while. Hoping this healing will be tender, solid, and done by the best that can be found.

The child said the abuse stopped when the child was no longer with them. So, what, why, and when?

Apparently only reported on Dec 23.i hope we know more, but probably won't.

Miller is still at large? Is that correct???

Her father, John James DeHart, 56 of Camano Island, Washington State, was once an anti-crime activist in the Philadelphia area, as numerous outlets reported when he was first arrested in 2013, but since his conviction in 2015, he's been living in Philadelphia as a registered sex offender, according to the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Sex Offender Registry. That's where he was arrested on new charges on April 18, 2024, and extradited to Lancaster County Prison where he remains on $1 million in bail as set by Magisterial District Judge Michael Hess.
