Okay...a recap for those that are behind. Only three ppl will be speaking for jodi: Darryl Brewer, patty Womack and jodi. There is NO inmate friend. There are NO Travis friends (Juan is done unless has to cross the DT ppl)....then there is closing. Okay? Okay.

We are waiting because it seems something is up with patty womack. Not the judges fault.

On that note, I really don't know what to make of Jodi's family not testifying. I'm not passing judgement (or trying not to ) but in comparison even the mothers of Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, and Jeffrey Dahmer all testified at their son's trials.

Good Point! Hope they show one of her copied ads. After trial, one of the jurors is going to see it in a magazine and be glad they put that liar where she belongs.

Keeping in mind that I am not a fan of DT or JA, but several have mentioned the moment when it appears the female atty. for the DT recoiled from JA....I've watched the clip a few times and it appeared to me that she was leaning over to talk to Nurmi at the same time JA was leaning over to talk to her. Although I realize there is issues between client/atty, I don't feel that was a move to slight JA or that counsel was "creeped out". I think it was just a timing issue and the angle of the shot because when the camera immediately cuts to a back view you can see the female atty leaned in Nurmi's direction as if speaking to him. Just my take on it FWIW.

What exactly was the purpose of the "mitigation" specialist. The only things I've ever seen her do is hot whisper in the CMJA's ear and vice versa. She certainly didn't come up with any plausible mitigation factors so ... the state of AZ paid her for what?

WHAT IS HER PURPOSE THERE aside from modeling trollopy outfits?

Speculation on HLN that the DT has washed their hands of her because she's going against their advice, playing uo abuse, nixing mom to do so, and will be making her statement about herself as a DV survivor and the good she can do other survivors. Exactly what we were guessing last night, and I still think its right.

DT is probably telling judge as we speak---we advised against this way to go, what comes next is on her.

I sure hope not, because this board is gonna blow up. My computer will self-implode, and I might have a nervous breakdown. Will she be allowed to wear one of her Survivor shirts?

If she says one word about being a domestic abuse survivor, and how she can help others in gen pop - I will scream!

Maybe all of these delays are warranted but for me they just feel like stalling, so they only have to do one witness until next week, or JA doesn't have to go until next week.

ETA: or JA can get some more attention focused on her for a few minutes

I bet JA is having one of her headaches again, or claiming too heartbroken to speak? Trying to clear the court for another day? :banghead:
