Not good & I wouldn't play the game, but, I think this is the result of extreme frustration people feel over Joran & his actions. He smirks, wants to be kept safe, wants special food, wants curtains for his room, claims he was imprisioned unfairly & coerced into a confession. He also has a record of escaping retribution for his crimes. I think people are just sick & tired of seeing him act as if he were guilty of nothing more than jaywalking. Personally, I want nothing more than seeing him properly punished for his crimes, but fear that by some hook or crook, it will never happen. He seems to lead a charmed life.

Thank you i.b.nora. I intend to look into this ... it's the right thing to do for sweet Stephany. Just surprised that it hasn't been done already. It's shocking to enter a Wiki search for her and it throws you midway down the JVDS page. I know their names will always be linked ... but I'd like to see her beautiful face when conducting a search, kwim?
Thanks again for the info ... I had no idea the average person could contribute to Wikipedia.

Even if this report is true, remember that Joran and his defense attorneys will have to propose and argue for a number of ridiculous scenarios in order to mount any kind of defense. He will go to prison, mark my words. And it will be interesting to see what he argues and what evidence he puts up.

Not that it will do him any good, because he committed the murder. Himself.

I agree there's a lot of things on this case that aren't being reported for the past few weeks....including the taxi drivers going to court. One remained scheduled for June 25. Two were postponed to July 5 and 6....NOTHING reported on any of them!!

This is getting frustrating!! :banghead: Don't they realize inquiring minds want to know!! :waitasec: :rant: :rant:

Just last week, the news media retracted earlier reports that Tacopina was coming to Peru as part of Joran's defense team...but the latest report from Peru says he's coming on Thurs., July 15, according to the Peruvian lawyer!!! Unbelievable !! :truce:

"Michael Jackson's former lawyer come to Lima on Thursday to defend Joran van der Sloot"

"Tacopina...even argued that third person would be responsible for the murder."

"[The] Peruvian lawyer...also noted...that his client 'is calmer than in the early days of confinement and fed normally.' " Awww...how sweet!! ((JMO)

Maybe Tacopina thinks the mystery man he blamed for Natalee Holloway's death also followed Joran to Peru to frame him for murdering Stephany...Glad to see that Joran will have a very good attorney, so that he will have a splendid defense before he is found guilty.

I KNEW IT!!! KNEW IT!!! KNEW IT!!! Again, as I stated in post #628, things are WAY TOO QUIET!!! And special thanks to FLNY - I had forgotten about the taxi cab drivers. As quiet as everything has been, it wouldn't surprise me that JT is already there and will actually be leaving for a short time on the 15th. Things have been kept quiet so JT and others could get in and out safely and not be hounded too much.(Wouldn't look too good on TV having cabbages thrown in your face.) Security reasons. JMHO Again!!!
