Charlotte Lester is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slim to medium build, brown eyes, and spotty balding or brown hair. (She may wear wigs.) Warwick Police said Lester was last spotted around 10 p.m. May 16 in Apponaug.

"That's troubling because she was always with that dog, (which was found abandoned on Elmwood ave.) She was never without the dog. So, to me that's a little upsetting," her neighbor said.

Warwick Police are also looking for Lester’s vehicle, a red 2006 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. It has a black front bumper and aftermarket rims, possibly bearing Rhode Island registration 1IL-194.

The neighbor’s doorbell camera recorded Lester and her vehicle at home on May 16.

How far was her dog found and the house that is being looked into ( above link)? Could something have happened and the dog got out and ran? According to reports above she was always with her dog. I'm not liking this situation. IMO

Here's what I have from above links.
Lives-East greenwich Post RD
Dog found on Elmwood Ave
Spotted on Apponaug at 10pm ( not sure by who so I'm taking this one lightly)
Search Warrant on 29 Staples Ave Warwick
Truck found at Kent Hospital 455 Toll Gate Rd. Warwick
Do we having mapping people reading? I'm not happy about the tape around the house IMO

McKeever said his doorbell camera recorded videos on May 16 and that he gave them to police.

"She was there all day Monday, like her truck was there, she had a friend that came over, and then around 9:30 it looked like her trucked backed out and I haven't seen her since," McKeever said.

Who's the friend?

Tonight, a spokesperson for the Lester family released the following statement, issuing prayers for her safe return and an urgent plea:

“Charlotte is a good woman that woke up trying to do 20 good deeds a day. She is a mother, a sister and a daughter. <snip> She would never leave her dog wandering. <snip> Bring my sister home alive. There are cameras everywhere ready to tell some of her story. Where is the footage from the hospital where her truck was found?

‘Cameras everywhere’ may refer to the 3400 block of Post Rd. (Apponaug) where CL was last seen at ~10 pm Monday, May16, 2022. The dog was found wandering further north, I believe (Elwood Ave.) Apparently Ring camera captured CM’s truck leaving her residence ~9:30 pm that same day. It is not clear to me what property is located at 3400 block of Post Rd. (Apponaug.)

The tape and warrant at the residence she is known to frequent on 29 Staples Ave. seem to indicate LE suspects a crime there. The residence has been taped off since last Saturday but the warrant was issued after her truck found, I believe. Her truck (one of the most-important pieces of evidence that was still out there) was found today, May 23, 2022, at Kent hospital. There are currently no patients admitted under the name Charlotte Lester.

The family hired private investigator Stan Volp to help them.

“It’s not encouraging that she’s been gone a week,” he said in a phone interview Tuesday. “It’s not encouraging that her phone is not available. It’s not encouraging that she wasn’t with her truck or her dog.”

No, it doesn’t look good.

That's a hodgepodge of locations. Charlotte lived "lived just over the East Greenwich line in Warwick", but no location given.

The home on Staples is tiny, has an "unfinished basement" :(

This is a good friend of mine’s sister. I am all the way out in California and wish I could do more. This is so disconcerting.

I see the home at that address is small as you say but I believe the police continue to investigate there and haven’t released that property.

The private investigator is hopeful the truck will contain useful forensic evidence.

My heart goes out to the family and to the many friends of the family as well. Of course we hope for a resolution that will find CL safe and well and that may yet happen.

police continue to surveil a house at 29 Staples Avenue in Apponaug. They got a search warrant for the house late last week and they are “holding” it for now, said Warwick Major Andrew Sullivan. Lester had been seen at that house on several occasions.

The article from yesterday that mentioned the house says the police continue to surveil the house not investigate as I misspoke. Wishing there would be some positive discovery about CL’s whereabouts.

Family members are offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of an East Greenwich woman reported missing.

Family offers reward in search for East Greenwich woman reported missing

The information about the reward was first posted to Charlotte’s brother Mark’s FB site and NBC New 10 was kind enough to post it to their news. Mark has been proactive in the search for his sister enlisting help from a private investigator early on and he plans some kind of search tomorrow starting where they found the truck I believe. As always I wish them the best. There is a local radio personality who believes LE is making progress in the case.

Bolded by me

From the article: This discovery, coming less than one day after a search party for the missing 44-year-old was at Kent Hospital on Sunday morning. Investigators would not say what was found or where it was found.

Whatever they found I hope it’s helpful in finding CL.
