GUILTY SC - 'Horrific' Child Abuse of 4 yo girl in Kershaw: 2 in Jail

A commenter also said the sherrif said there are undisclosed injuries. The news has reported more charges expected. Hope she wasn't molested too.
These two should be charged with alot more since she may have well died soon without medical aid.

Anthony Anderson, Jr ... says he spoke with her (bio?) dad and "they" have been keeping the child from him for several months.

I made the mistake of reading some of the comments after the article, and looking at her facebook. It's bad enough knowing a 4 year old was so grievously abused. A family member is defending her for one, but when looking at her facebook she appeared to be on every day, 200+ friends, LOTS of activity in April, playing games every day. All I could picture is this poor tortured baby laying there suffering and she's on facebook chatting, getting a high score !?!?!?! :furious:


I feel so bad for this little girl, pray for a full recovery and a happy healthy healing home far away from these 'parental units' and those who would defend either of them.

Me too and my heart is just breaking lil' L. Bless her sweet lil' heart, she is without question, the very face of child abuse. The photo's of her with her abuser were especially disturbing and the one in front of the fridge, well...it pretty much says it all, doesn't it... :cry: and to think... in those pics she already had serious injuries.

Oh, I certainly hope so too! I was so excited when I read that and realized what it could mean for her.

Besides the dislocated elbow, the child was suffering from a broken wrist and a broken leg. She had bruises on the tops of her feet, on her palms and behind her ears, Dill said.

She is still too weak for surgery, but they have removed an abscessed lesion from her hip. Also, it is reported that someone called LE on them during spring break when the child was heard screaming, begging not to be hit. Nothing came of it... :|

I'm just sick after reading these :furious:

They made her walk on a broken leg into the hospital! Sick!

It seems like the doctors keep finding more and more injuries.

A mother should be willing to take a few punches to protect her child!! SHE invited this man into their lives! It wasn't her 4 year old daughter who made the decision to move in with him!! My heart is breaking for this sweet baby, the same age as my niece who is adored and protected by all who know and love her. Her mom (my sister) and her dad would take a bullet for her without a second's thought. If anyone ever laid a hand on her, THEY would be checking into the hospital. If they were lucky!! And that's the way it's supposed to be!!

A real mother would have protected their child, regardless if it meant ending up in the hospital. This woman is not a "mother"... she is an egg donor that put her selfishness above taking care of her child. Had that been my child and that creep had laid one hand of violence on her, HE would have been the one in the hospital, before being taken to the county lockup.


I hope this little angel rebounds quickly. From reading comments on various news sites, the rest of her biological family is a mess, as well... IMO, hopefully the court will terminate all biological connections to her and allow an unrelated family in a different part of the state to adopt and give her a new life where she will grow up with unconditional love and care.

This is monstrous. I hope they will face real time but I;m too used to such monsters getting nothing. I'm trying to access the penal code in South Carolina to see what they may face.

No more than 20 years for inflicting or allowing great bodily injury to be inflicted on a child. Penal code section 16-3-95.

No more than 20 years for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. Penal code section 16-3-600.

However, such assault and battery can be a lesser included of attempted murder. Penal code 16-3-29.

I wonder if the sentences can run consecutively. I pray the state does not allow them to plead out. Please, please make examples of these monsters. Please! Let society have a trial and sentence them to as much as possible. Please!

Don't some courts add years on at sentencing if the assault is on a child? Would love to see that happen here!
