POLICE SEARCHING FOR MISSING ROCK HILL WOMAN

YORK COUNTY, S.C. – Deputies in York County are asking for the public’s help locating a missing Rock Hill woman.

Police said that 69-year-old Laura Russell Simpson was last seen leaving her home on Hillcrest Way on Saturday, April 7. She was driving a white 2017 Ford Escape with SC license plate MPG-755 and she was last seen wearing all white clothing.

Simpson is described as a white female, approximately 5-foot-6, weighing 160 pounds. She has white hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the York County Sheriff’s Office at 803-628-3059.

I wonder if anyone like a friend or family member knows where she was going to?? Some people that age do their errands on Saturday. She might have regular places she goes to. Someone could at least go to her regular shopping places etc.

On Tuesday, the York County Sheriff's Office said the Simpson had been located.
