FBI DNA testing identifies woman whose body parts were found in Seneca locations, coroner says

Also from this article :

Addis said the victim was formerly from Easley and 55 years of age.

The woman's daughter has been contacted and informed of the death of her mother, Addis said.

The daughter has requested Addis withhold the name until Saturday to allow for additional family members to be contacted.

Bringing that out so we can eliminate others who were considered in this case. Also, of note, the victim was 10 years older than they originally thought. Rest in peace, whomever you may be.

Just noticed Teresa has her name now in the thread title. This makes me smile. :) I'm wondering if she was possibly homeless, since LE are asking for info about where she lived and with who for the past few months. It almost sounds like she was estranged from her family.

That’s so good to see. There is a typo in Oconee County though. There is only one “N”. Lol.

The link above says that Teresa once lived with her sister in the Seneca area. I had wondered what connection she had to Seneca when previous news reports listed her as from the Easley area.
Easley is located about 25 miles NE of Seneca.
One would most likely travel Hwy 123 between the two. It’s a busy local 4-6 lane highway that connects Greenville, SC to Clemson, SC and Seneca is one of the larger communities in Oconee County. This info is just to give you an idea of the area where Teresa was found.
Our corner of the Upstate is fast becoming the new retirement capital, or at least one them lol.
I don’t recall ever seeing or hearing of a missing persons bulletin for Teresa Sell.
Hopefully some more info will come out as this is under investigation.
The interesting fact is that there are two other women reported missing in Oconee County.
DISCLAIMER: There has been no info to suggest these cases are related.
