Lammy. I'll correct my error. The memory card that was shown in court did not belong to Travis's camera. It is the wrong size, color and shape. IIRC, it was Melendez who testified that the images show in court were obtained from the memory card extracted from the camera. So the question becomes why was the blue memory card shown as an exhibit in court and what was on it?

I believe the blue card in evidence is the one they extracted the pictures from or why else would it be in evidence. A poster posted a picture of a black card, Sony professional which was an example of the card JA told Det. Flores about in her interview. That black card would not fit in TA's camera but was for a professional type camera which JA has. The poster has a similar professional camera as JA and used the picture as a comparison to the evidence picture, at least that was my understanding at the time. jmo

I've noticed something very strange about men. Most seem to have unlimited self esteem regardless what they look like. I can't believe the number of shirtless men I saw this weekend that should NEVER be seen shirtless.

I have not decided if its a good thing or bad:/

Periods are still regular. Is it hot flashes? How long do they last? Seems to me "flash" sounds like they quickly come and go? No?

I think I would call what you are experiencing is night sweats. Which I had until I got on hormones. I just could not take it, the waking up all the time really got to me.

I also had hot flashes and boy, you know it when you have one! It literally comes on you in an instant, and suddenly you are literally dripping in sweat!

I don't know how long it lasts, but I have heard it can be years. :scared:

Yes, flashes come and go and last just a few minutes, and time of day/night doesn't matter. You feel yourself getting hot and might have a little perspiration on your brow. They are quite annoying! Luckily I didn't have severe ones like lots of women have. I don't know why you're so hot at night ... ask our resident nurse Zuri ... she knows everything! Sounds like you're entering the menopausal years. :seeya: Anyone else want to jump in on this?

Hot flashes feel like you're on fire from the inside out. They usually last anywhere up to 5 minutes, but can occur one right after the other.

The ones that occur when you're trying to sleep are called "night sweats" and suck too. You kick the covers off... when hot flash passes, you pull the covers up... hot flash comes you kick the covers off... Is it any wonder you don't sleep?!?!?

For a couple of hours yesterday, Websleuths was shut down for technical maintenance. I thought that some of the ongoing issues with the site would be better today, but the site continues to load slowly, posts are lost in cyberspace, "thanks" button isn't working, etc.

LindaNJ that is night sweats. I've been having them for 7 years! Wine makes them worse in my case, sigh. I did try black cohosh for a while, veggie caps and then tincture, that helped. I quit ordering it though. Just thought it was another expense, but will go back to it. I've been told our menopause symptoms will be like our mothers' were. Well, my mother had a hysterectomy and can't remember anyway, so I can't ask.

I also want to know why I get viagra spam. I am not a man, I don't need it. If a man needs it he can get it! :floorlaugh:

I was thinking the same thing. Shanna has researched this much longer and really got the back story. That is what I would like to read.

I pre-ordered Shanna's book months ago- it was priced at about $6, but Amazon emailed me and said the price was going to be about $20 instead, so I canceled the order. I would like to read the book, but I'm waiting for some used copies.

Watching JVM. So now it comes out that, according to her sources, Bobby was afraid of CMJA. It just really frustrates me that something like this wasn't allowed to be presented in the trial.
Now, I'm thinking that DB was afraid of her as well, he actually sounded fearful when he was on the witness stand. I think he was choosing what he said very carefully, just in case CMJA wasn't convicted.

Also, that Travis told his friend CMJA was a "nymphomaniac" , well, no surprise to me, but this also wasn't presented to the jury.

How is it that the truth is prejudicial, :facepalm: something I doubtfully will ever understand.

goodmorning everyone! i hope you all had a nice weekend. i'm cleaning the house today, throwing something in the crock pot (not sure what but i got a crock pot pizza recipe that uses bisquick and will be easy for my 2 year old to eat so i'm gonna try that) and wait for the sneiderman verdict!

I had a very busy day, too. Did 2 loads of clothes- folded/ hung, and put away, washed towels and sheets, made homemade chicken soup with rice and used my new rice maker for the rice (what a great little contraption that is- makes perfect rice. My son made me buy it- he loves rice), sweep the kitchen and dining room floors and steam-cleaned them (another great contraption, the steam-cleaner), swept the kitchen/dining room floors again :banghead:, made up the beds, swept the kitchen/dining floors again :stormingmad: (The Queen needs a haircut- instead of her "high-heeled feet, she now has "slippers" on- :floorlaugh: and is bringing in the grass that was mowed yesterday and all manners of things that are attached to her feet.). Cleaned up the dinner dishes and now I'm pooped!
