Rodney Sloat mentioned on the above thread...implying he could be considered for a UID in Prineville OR. The UID had a a Jack Daniels belt buckle and Canadian cigarettes.

Ardrossan Alberta is on the outskirts of Edmonton. There seem to still be a few "Sloats" in the Edmonton area.

A Dorothy Gladys Sloat died last month ( Nov 13/15). She was born in 1920 . Her children included a Rodney Sloat. I wonder if she was Rod's mother.
