A Florida man has been convicted of sexually abusing a child when he was a teenager, after admitting to doing so during a job interview to become a police officer, authorities said.

On Wednesday, May 8, an Orange County jury found Stephen Bodley, now 26, guilty of sexual battery on a child less than 12 by a person under 18 after a three-day trial, according to a press release from the Office of the State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
