I watched the raw video (part 1) of the court hearing, I looked for a part 2 but could not find it.

To me, Josh seemed oddly detached. He was there and speaking, but he seemed to lose his train of thought a couple of times. What was he trying to convey when he talked about the restraining order? Why not just say "I will be ok with allowing Chuck Cox to do what he needs to do at C's school while he is in his custody, but would like the order to revert to the original status if I regain custody in the future".

I think Josh knows what's coming next and the strain is showing.
 
From here on out, all posts about the custody hearing made on this thread will be removed without explanation.

Is there any chance that SP can make bond ? If he bonded out and was added to the mix the result for the children and grandparents could be terrifying. He would have the resentment of his arrest added to the failure of JP to keep the boys to really set him off.

Well, Josh said they didn't have the funds to bail him out, and he is jobless now, plus he already borrowed money against his house just a couple months ago. I don't know for sure, but I bet he was spending more than he was taking in and is all tapped out. And judging by SP's personality, I doubt he has any friends willing to loan that kind of money to him. So, I am willing to bet he is just going to have to make himself comfy right were he is for a while.

I believe he has to come up with $200,000 cash, not the usual 10%. Don't see how that could happen, and Josh has stated they won't be bailing him out.

I know they routinely take all computers and removable storage media like DVD's and VCR's. Cameras. Weapons and even some kitchen knives if they look to have suspicious stains. Writings, business records. Nooses and posters. Maybe books.

LOL I couldn't guess what all they may have taken. But if it was thought that it might be even remotely relevant to any crime they would have taken it.

Either that, or they will be quite pleased because they think that this takes everyone's eyes off of the other possible deed - murder. They may believe that this keeps investigators busy with *advertiser censored*, and they will still get away with "helping" Susan disappear. :sick:

Hopefully, SP will want to save his own skin and will sacrifice his son to the lions.
 
That would be something wouldn't it? LOL for SP to roll on JP.

First hitting on his wife, then telling on him for 'disappearing' the wife.

And if SP didn't help him plan the 'disappearance' he has a strong motive for rolling on him. After all SP had a crush on her. And if JP did it alone, then there is a possibility for resentment over that.

I was thinking this awhile ago. They me able to offer him a deal of keeping him from the general population. I'm sure a child pornographer and man who lusted after his sons wife wouldn't be treated too well by the other prisoners. I'm not sure I'd like to see him on the outside again but if they cut it back to 15 - 20 years and he gives up everything and it can be verified as truthful then I say Ok, as long as he wasn't involved in the killing. I see this man as having no moral dilemma's with turning on his son.
 
Do we have an address for SP's house? has anyone looked it up via google earth or zillow.com or something? Also, if its a track home in a neighborhood, it should be pretty easy to find out the floorplan (layout) based on the builder. Also, if the cars are always parked in the driveway, thats a sign that the garage could be full of "stuff."

My brother is a corrections officer. In the jail at least, they keep child molesters, pedophiles, etc out of the general population lest they be killed. They have separate yard time, meal time, lock-up area.

Taking a closer look at his home in satellite view, it seems he is very close to small park with play equipement for kids. He probably had visual from his home. I also notice that the backyard grass looks like newly laid sod, notice the lines. Have any cadaver dogs ever gone over the property?

JMO, it could be "tire lines" from the lawnmower also could give that appearance. If you look closely, it appears that there is no fence in the backyard.....I think that they would have to be pretty brave to bury a body in the backyard, out in the open, with no fence, with all those houses, people, and the park close by, but I could be wrong....

hmmm...google may be off by a little bit (a couple houses). take a look at the link below from the search on the 25th....doesn't it apopear that the house is on the corner? If so, that house DOES have a fence, which is what I would expect from the Powell "compound" http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...&safe=active&sa=X&tbm=isch&prmd=ivnsuo&itbs=1
