Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Saturday that Homeland Security Investigations agents had arrested two people in New Bedford.

Two foreign nationals have been arrested on immigration violations in the Massachusetts town where police say the surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect may have once lived.

That was what stood out to me when I read the article on the unsolved murders. I think that it was a female friend of Suspect 2 that remarked how Suspect 1 was unhappy about little brother smoking pot. If Suspect 2 had become extremist, maybe he wasn't happy about his only American friend / "best friend" doing drugs and therefore covered the bodies with the drugs as some sort of symbol.

It's all about the pot.

The three men murdered supposedly had weed tossed on them.

It says maybe it was not drug related, but because they were Jewish?

Respectfully snipped by me. You have to know a good amount about the race to choose that moment, to be honest. If they were looking for a statement and the most VIP's, they could have detonated them when the leaders crossed the finish line. If they were looking for maximum casualties, they picked a time where the largest numbers of runners were finishing, and the largest amount of loved ones were cheering everyone on.

I dont believe either of them came up with that scenario. I think the timing- tax day, Patriots Day, approaching anniversaries of Waco and the Oklahoma City Bombing, was designed to confuse and point to a domestic terror group as well, instead of a possible foreign influence.

JMO. We will find out more soon, I believe, provided he survives.

The marathon is like the St Pat's day parade. I go to the marathon most years - sometimes I volunteer I'm a runner, just not fast enough to qualify to be in the race). Had someone asked me when the most people would be congregated at the finish line, I'd have said closer to the beginning of the race. Also that would be a great time for good TV coverage. All the sports stations love to get footage of the winners. Had they bombed the fastest runners' spectators, they would have gotten HUGE coverage of the networks filming in high-def, etc. But really there are crowds all the time near the finish.

I honestly think they showed up to a well-known crowded spectator event and walked around until they found a heavy crowd. Scoped out the scene, then dropped the bags. We saw them doing something just like that.

The scenario to me seems really ill thought out. Sure they could have chosen the day because of historical significance. I definitely believe that.

It has been repeated from the beginning that the older brother had a hard time making American friends. Multiple articles, recurring theme and he made a comment on one of his blogs about it as well. At some point an article was posted about the gym owner (I believe) introducing him to this guy and they became best friends.

I understand that I am to link articles, but with the hundreds of posts over the past few days, it will take me hours to link everything. I will do my best to chip away at it.

Either they were disorganized and hadn't thought farther than the initial bombing (unlikely, IMO) or they were gearing up for a second act.

I think considering what happened Thursday night it was the latter. IMO.

I wouldn't think he had any injuries that affected his airway/larynx, since he would probably not have been able to survive. If he had injuries that caused swelling and required a tracheotomy he will eventually be able to use a device that will enable him to talk. Thinking further, it is possible that he has nerve injury that will not allow him to talk. Wish they would give us just a little more info. Nursebeeme, what are your thoughts on this?

I am out of town and I just burst out in laughter and I think I just the entire house up.

Since it is late night, everyone do a shout out now from what trial or thread they're following! It is late night so we can do this!

I am now from the Jodi arias trial. the original trial I followed was the Anthony case.

As two for why I was bursting out laughing...

Travis ..Alexander is the person that was killed and Juan is the prosecutor.

One of the funny things about the trial is Spider Man underwear. there for the reference to Spidey .

It made me laugh because it made me realize now that so many people are from other threads and not just the one I am following!

At one point this week, soon after the brothers were identified, it was shown on television where TT's wife and child were getting into a black SUV with authorities around her - protective, escorting mode. The newscaster said they were picking her up at "their" home. She was carrying the daughter.

We may not have to wait until he talks. Every scrap either of them has written, will be examined. Both with pen and with computer. Every person they ever exchanged names with will likely be questioned. Every person they maintained contact with regularly will be more than talked to, they will be examined thoroughly.

It is very likely that one of them wrote something. Or talked to someone. They were young, idealistic and reckless. Someone else will know. And soon FBI will know too.


BTW has anyone seen or heard anything that the wife of the older one is talking? She is the one I would like to hear from.

They got pregnant and then got married, her child is 3 and
she has already left him and has been living with her parents for about a year. IIRC. I think they filed or are divorced. I do not know if she "knew anything" really.

I hope they spirited her and their daughter somewhere out of reach. (from the media and the public...not LE)
