ENDANGERED CHILD ALERT: TBI looking for 9-year-old boy missing out of Cheatham County

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Endangered Child Alert for a 9-year-old boy who went missing from his Ashland City home.
  • Jordan Allen Gorman was last seen at his home in Ashland City earlier on Sunday.
  • He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey short-sleeve shirt w/red stripes on the arm.
  • Jordan is four feet tall and weighs 75 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees Gorman is asked to call TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND or the Cheatham County Sheriff's Office at 615-792-2098.

Statewide Endangered Child Alert issued for Cheatham County 9-year-old
  • Jordan ran away from his home after a fight with his parents.
  • He was last seen around 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday.
  • Cheatham County Sheriff's Lieutenant Ken Miller said the search is ongoing, with investigators doing a neighborhood canvas.
  • The Tennessee Highway Patrol and the TBI are assisting with the search, and tracking dogs from Montgomery County are expected to arrive today.
  • Lt. Miller said three teams of tracking dogs searched for Jordan on Sunday, but wind made it difficult for them to pick up a scent.
  • Authorities said Jordan ran into the woods after a disagreement at his home on Valley View Road near Wanda Lane.

Sweet Jesus, there are nothing but woods around Jordan's home. It's like a needle in haystack. And he was wearing a short sleeved shirt? Brrrrr. I hope his parents checked if there is no jacket missing. And shoes, what shoes did he have on?
I haven't seen anything about shoes. I sure hope he has something on his feet! :(

And, you are so right about the woods. Ugh!
