Boy, found in Spring Lake pond, alive in hospital
Paramedics found a faint pulse in the boy and rushed him to Womack, the sheriff's office said. Ramel was later transported to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where he was listed in stable condition Wednesday evening.

Wow stable condition! I was worried that he would be in critical condition. Grandpa must have found him pretty early.

God bless him and I pray he makes a full recovery. What a face on that little guy!

No change in afternoon reports. Praying for the little guy.


And prayers also for the 2 children listed in the top story list. A 3 year old dead of gunshot wound and 10 month old in critical condition due to abuse. Three children on one page on Christmas. God grant some miracles here.

I know the Grandfather is devastated, but you cannot take your eyes off children that age. The pond should be enclosed if a toddler is going to be out there as well. I'm not blaming anyone, but kids get into things so quickly!
